There are reports online regarding eye color changing from
brown to blue in aging Caucasian adults.

Apparently, under every brown eye is a blue eye. So things can make the brown go away. There are now laser treatments to ablate melanin and turn brown eyes blue.

Blue eye is just a eye where melanin is barely produced.
Eye color changes with age in apparently 10 to 15 percent of the Caucasian population.

Your comments dovetail with my personal experience.  I started off with brown eyes.  At the present time, I have had cataract surgery in both eyes and laser treatments to "touch up" the surgeries.  The end result is excellent distance vision, but I still require reading glasses.

My present eye color is basically "indeterminate" with the consensus opinion being hazel.  I personally can't say for sure if the eyes are even a single color.  Maybe "multicolored" would be a more accurate description but I have never heard of such a thing and I doubt that would be permitted when renewing driver licenses and passports.

So ruling out a suspect on eye color may not be sound. One online report has a brown to blue shift occurring at age 69.

I had the surgeries at age 67 and never gave any thought to eye color changes.  But several years ago, a dermatologist - repeat dermatologist - asked me what my eye color was.  I said they were brown and he disagreed.  But even he couldn't settle on a single color and mentioned several colors as possibilities.

I have asked eye specialists, and others, about my eye color and have received a wide range of answers.  Most of them mentioned hazel as a possibility but included other colors as well.  Maybe the color will be blue in a few more years.

This should not be an issue if Cooper was late forties to early fifties?

Its a very low probability issue, which is exactly what the conspiracy crowd likes. Could Cooper have been a shape shifter from a Galaxy far away?
