Sorry to hear this Shutter. All the best.

Ah, Shut, my condolences. You've been sharing your thoughts and feelings about your mom here for a long time, and I thank you for that.

My mom ain't too far behind yours. She's 98 and is fading fast. I may be heading back to New York in the next couple of days to either say goodbye or honor her memory. I had been with her from the end of April to last Wednesday, and I needed a break so I returned to WA. Now my sister is able to take care of her. Lots of death around us these days. One of my land mates died of covid while I was in NY.

Review of Netflix docu

Netflix's "DB Cooper - Where Are You?" airs this week on July 13th. It's a four-part series that runs weekly.

A review of the docu is out today in the Oregonian. It's a very descriptive and comprehensive review:

Just returned from a 3 week family road trip throughout the American West. Hit Rocky Mountain National Park, Arches NP, Zion NP, Grand Canyon NP, Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Redwood NP, Crater Lake NP, and Yellowstone NP.

Epic trip that I'll never forget.

In Yellowstone, I ran into a young woman who grew up between Woodland, WA and Vancouver, WA. She had never heard the name DB Cooper and knew nothing about the case at all. I told her to Google it; that she'd be in for a surprise about where she grew up. Guess not everyone shares our affinity for the case!

Curious how old she was?

Don’t know exactly. Twenties or very early thirties?

Glad you had a good time. No headaches due to Covid?  Covid has ruined so much.  Anyway, I had my own trip back in 2016 starting in Vegas and ending in SF. I was out more for California.  Hit Rodando beach where I lived at the age of 4.  I was 14 the night Cooper took his jump.  I know I had heard of it but never in such detail.  I have never been to Seattle or Portland and I will never go to Portland. Too much violent crime.  No thanks. And Cooper is not there. No way.  Alive or dead.  Well I hope you had a great time as your list is impressive.  Who wouldn't want to see Yellowstone. Forrest Finn's treasure is found so that is a dead one now.  But there is the Secret.  The one with the jewels that are planted out there.   A few are found but many are still out there.

Thanks! It was really amazing. Yellowstone was certainly my favorite park, and I thought Yosemite didn't live up to the hype. Had a chance to visit some of the locations associated with the Zodiac case which was interesting for me.

Kudos to the forum members that appeared in the Netflix production! I am impressed, very professional looking and sounding! Although the Colbert part got somewhat boring to me, I enjoyed the rest. I really enjoyed hearing and seeing Mr. Mitchel! I enjoy hearing from those that were directly involved as well as those that were alive and living in that area at the time of the hijacking. Good job members, I think you made the Vortex proud!
