Hey guys?

As you may or not know, my name is Aaron, I registered the Cooper forum late last winter. I'm a long time illustrator and loved the Cooper story so much, I decided to make an illustrated, digital print. I have them for sale on my site.

Well, I don't know who Big Chef is, but he seems to have a protruding bottom lip, just like Cooper was described to have.

I could see Bruce living in one of these! Or Darren have one in his backyard.

Had a bad streak of luck the past couple weeks. my main concern is dental. I've had a permanent bridge across the front uppers for 25 years. in the middle of the night it broke. woke me up out of a dead sleep. the dentist said I out grew it causing pressure to build up until it failed. been scrambling trying to find the right dentist for the job. very expensive. my dentist never told me the permanent bridge was not permanent. I know now...

Have to catch up on what's been going on. don't see a whole lot. little grey guys seems to be the topic at a glance.

Spoke with Eric and he's pretty busy.

All the best with dentists and bridge work. It's been a dark hole of pain, lack of insurance, and costs for many years.

COOPER - The WSHM's virtual tour

In Progress, via Zoom....

I am so BORED that I figured I'd give ya an update while we wade through a lengthy presentation on flight attendant uniforms through the years, given by a staff member from the Museum of Flight.

Interesting Fact: The MoF has 2,000 FA uniforms in their collections!

Also, we just waded through a 30-minute presentation on the history of Tom Collins and High Ball mixology. High point was learning that the aviation industry has just lost $43 million in booze sales as they canceled in-flight beverage service!

Tom Kaye is scheduled to talk about suspects, but he is the 7th speaker out of 8, and we're only at #2, with 90 minutes left in the presentation.

Update at 9:30 pm:

Tom did get in and he blew everybody away.

More tidbits from the WSHM's COOPER Broadcast tonight

1. 727 has six "pre-dent" flap settings: 2, 5, 15, 25, 30, and 40 degrees. The last two are used for landing. "15" is considered the "sweet spot." - Dave Jones, former Boeing 727 Flight Test Engineer and now a Museum of Flight docent.

2. Dave Jones continued, and said that the DC-9, soon to become the MD-80, had an aft stairs but its flap system was not as sophisticated nor as comprehensive as the Boeing 727. Also, NWO started flying 727s in 1967. They first flew in trials in 1963; certified in 1964.

3. Tom said that the FBI got its first electron microscope in 1972. His presentation on the tie was magnificent and will be a real joy to hear at CC21. I loved it.

4. Another DBC book is coming out: DB Cooper and Flight 305 - Re-examining the Hijacking and Disappearance, by Robert H. Edwards, Ph.D. Due September 28, 2021 from Schiffer Publishing in Pennsylvania.

Edwards is approaching this case from a mathematician's perspective, and has re-investigated the flight paths. He says he has five new LZs that need to be examined. Dr. Edwards has been orbiting me and others in the Vortex for years, asking questions and conducting his research. Most of his research has been conducted via the Internet, with strong reliance on WSHM interviews, which has forged a bond with the WSHM - who considers him a kindred soul, it appears. Edwards also says that he has read approximately 19,000 pages from the FBI's Vault. He was born in the UK and now lives in eastern Europe.

Agreed. Tom was excellent, and while the info he presented isn't particularly new or earth-shattering, it was nice to see it presented in one, easy to digest format.

Well let's see Bruce, dont give us any details! No hard info. Why are you holding out on us, Bruce?  ;) Isn't Dr. Edwards who is 'orbiting you' also the Actor and Producer: Robert I. Harker ? The star of stage and screen. Who has played Hitler, Lawrence of Arabia, and other heroic figures and now DB Cooper ? Lets start with his publisher's vita:

Bob Edwards (Robt H Edwards phD) studied mathematics at Cambridge University, and earned his MSc and PhD from the London School of Economics. He embarked on a career as an economist and later as a contractor in economic, demographic and market research. He has owned and managed his own research firm since 1990. He has lived, worked or studied in Canada, England, Malaysia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Taiwan, and the United Arab Emirates. He holds a private pilot’s license and has experience in parachuting. He survived spin training, engine failure, forced landing, a hang-glider crash, and a tangle with the shroud lines. Now that he is older but not wiser, he does more dangerous things, such as writing this book, and acting for film and television under the screen name Robert Isaac Harker

Edward's/Harker's phD is the least of his credits!  He has 5 new LZs that need to be examined?   Methinks the only story is a muse who has now entered the DB Cooper Maldum Fornax ? Time will tell.  Unfortunately it will only take 200 years! In other words: another DBCooper lifetime production. :)

As far as I could tell, Dave Jones never answered my question.  All I did was ask him if he had ever been on the 727 when it was rolled.  I'm disappointed.

Georger, your very fragile ego has apparently taken a severe hit! :(  Your attempted put down of Dr. Edwards is quite a distance beyond silly.

Could you get your sorry ass into Cambridge or the London School of Economics?  Have you ever appeared in any media that requires actual talent?  All you do is hide in the weeds and pontificate from somewhere in Iowa. ::)
