Just stopping by to give an update on my Dan Cooper screenplay called The Sky Way. I have entered the script into a variety of feature film screenplay competitions and it's doing very well! I've won a few awards already. The ultimate goal is to get this film produced. The project is currently in the top 5% of all projects on Coverfly, which is an industry website for hosting screenplays. I did have a director option the screenplay. They get one year to develop it. More competition results in June...Stay tuned.

LIVE: Day three of witness testimony in Bahena Rivera murder trial -

The trial has been delayed for THREE YEARS due to defense motions, following the murder of UI student Molly Tibbets and arrest of illegal immigrant Bahena Rivera who took authorities to the site in a cornfield where he admitted hiding Tibbet's body. Bahena Rivera has plead innocent due to diminished capacity (blacks out when he gets mad) and abuse by law enforcement (a ten hour interview). According to Rivera, Bahena Rivera admits seeing Tibbets jogging and says he began following Tibbets because he thought she was "hot". He says he caught up with Tibbets and they argued, she screamed and slapped Rivera then pulled out her cell phone trying to call Police ... and at that point Rivera says he blacked out. Tibbets died due to 7-12 knife wounds to her chest and throat and face.

At issue already in this trial is the ten hour interview conducted with Rivera after his apprehension weeks after the Tibbets murder. Defense is contending Rivera had already been working for 14 hours prior to his arrest, he was given no opportunity to rest or consult an attorney, he was not properly given his Miranda rights, etc. It was at the end of this interview at 5am that Rivera agreed to take law enforcement people to where he had dumped Tibbet's body,  in a cornfield. Due to the passage of time since her murder Tibbet's semi-nude body was unrecognizable. Pieces of her clothing including her underwear were strewn around the area. Her bra was still on her body. Tibbet's blood was found in the trunk of Rivera's car. Defense is contending that Rivera's 'confession' must be thrown out due to a violation of Rivera's rights from the time he was arrested to the time (at 5am) he took authorities to where he had dumped Tibbet's body.

Surprisingly, Vancouver, WA is not only a hot spot for DBC, but also encounters with ETs and such. My MUFON "Experiencer" Zoom group is centered in Vancouver even though it has folks from around the world - France; India; Toronto; Macon, Georgia. The 'Couve gang got wind that I've written a book on DBC and they invited me down last night to talk about what I know.

Twenty folks gathered on the patio of a Mufoneer who lives off Mill Plain Road, and we had a GREAT time talking Coop. I sold seven books and all twenty are itching to attend CC21.

Two sets of couples came down from Troutdale and points north towards ECETI, the UFO encampment run by James Gilliland near Mt. Jefferson and well-known to "experiencers." BTW: ECETI is short for Enlightened Contact with Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence.

His last show other than on a couple that went missing, many in your area, was about survival gear for hikers.  A great watch.  David recently lost his son Ben to suicide.  So some of that has come in also. It came out of nowhere. His feed was already had a huge audience.  He is a very very smart guy.  He did the investigation on Dennis Martin back in 89.
