Yes they do.

Looks like the video you posted might of got hit with Copyrights and they are trying to get around it by making it private. that doesn't work either. I'm surprised documentaries still exist on YouTube at all. the Docu Bruce was in got zapped as well.

One final video this year.

EU: Good video and a new interesting way to look at the case.  I've been of the belief that it might be useful to focus on the elements that McCrone Labs found in major quantities, like silicon, calcium, and iron.  The minute traces of the other particles could easily have been blown around in the air, and we do not know if those tiny particles exist on other clothing or ties of the era.  Looking at the industrial hub of the US in the Northeast makes sense.

Being willing to suggest that your suspect is not DB Cooper shows a certain neutrality and non-bias, a willingness to change views when new information becomes available.  Maybe you'll uncover a connection Sheridan had to the Northeast.  Good luck with this new approach.

One final comment.  On your last video you mentioned something that stuck with me.  It was this.  All the deathbed confessions (Weber, Gossett, Christansen, etc.) or whatever those confessions were called, all had something in common. That was vague proof.  These men wanted people to believe they were DB Cooper, yet they could not offer a single piece of evidence, not one $20 bill, a ticket stub, a picture, part of the parachute, matchbooks, nothing.  So in reality, anyone could have confessed to being DB Cooper.

I do agree that there is a tendency to ignore the abundant and focus on the rare in terms of the tie particles. This could be a mistake.

I will say that the titanium, antimony, silicon, and rare earths probably are important because they are consistent with aerospace, Boeing and high tech which strikes me as too coincidental to ignore.

As for Sheridan, I have stated that my only horse in this race is the truth. Sheridan is either Cooper or he is not. My task is to read the tea leaves and to determine the truth of the matter no matter what it may be.

Finally, yes, there are a lot of wannabe's out there who apparently feel that claiming to be Cooper will mean that they were someone in life. Well, evidence talks, bullshit walks.
Some men see things as they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?

I just got my copy of Dana's book, The Man in 18-E.

Some early thoughts:

- the cover is simple and impactful, but it shows a four-engined contrail. Ahem, Dana-Lynn....

- the facts are pretty factual.

- the fictional aspect of the book, the text, is super smart-ass-y.

Bruce, Lynn's book captures the zeitgeist of the Cooper world and Cooper blogers perfectly.  The facts are pretty "super smart-ass-y" as well.  Don't quibble over an extra contrail.

Dawn Wells (Mary Ann Giliigan's Island) died today at age 82 from Covid. I think Ginger is the only one left?

I remember a couple years ago she had to sell things right out of her house for bills. I'm reading she was also suffering from  dementia. she will be missed..

I remember several years ago when Gilligan (Bob Denver) was arrested because Mary Ann sent him a package of weed. Ginger and Gilligan I could see, but I had a hard time seeing Mary Ann as a stoner. As a kid, I would rush home from school every day so that I could watch Gilligan's Island.

Make no mistake, when it came to the Ginger or Mary Ann question that we've all had to answer at one time or another, I was a Mary Ann guy.

RIP Dawn Wells.

Dawn Wells, who played the lovable castaway Mary Ann Summers on "Gilligan's Island," died in Los Angeles on Wednesday from Covid-19 complications, her publicist Harlan Boll confirmed to CNN.

She was 82.
Tina Louise portrayed movie star Ginger Grant on "Gilligan's Island" and said in a statement to CNN, "I was sad to learn of Dawn's passing, I will always remember her kindness to me."
"We shared in creating a cultural landmark that has continued to bring comfort and smiles to people during this difficult time," the statement read. "I hope that people will remember her the way that I do -- always with a smile on her face."
Born in Reno, Nevada, Wells represented her home state in the Miss America pageant in 1959.
That opened the door for her to start a career in Hollywood where she appeared in a multitude of television shows, including "77 Sunset Strip," "Maverick," "Bonanza," "The Joey Bishop Show" and "Hawaiian Eye."

The cast of the TV comedy series "Gilligan's Island," which ran from 1964-1967, listens to a shortwave radio in a promotional photo.
She beat out 350 other actresses to nab the role of girl-next-door Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island," which aired on CBS from 1964 to 1967 and later in syndication.

In a 2016 interview with Forbes magazine, Wells revealed that the job was not as lucrative as many people believed.
"A misconception is that we must be wealthy, rolling in the dough, because we got residuals. We didn't really get a dime," she said. "I think my salary -- of course, I was low on the totem pole, Ginger (Tina Louise) and Thurston (Jim Backus) got more -- was $750 a week. Sherwood Schwartz, our producer, reportedly made $90 million on the reruns alone!"

Her gingham dress and famous short shorts from "Gilligan's Island" are currently on display in the lobby of The Hollywood Museum.
She is survived by her stepsister, Weslee Wells.
No services have been scheduled at this time and in lieu of flowers, donations are requested to either The Elephant Sanctuary, Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum or The Shambala Preserve.

Wow. It's amazing to see all the above tributes to Dawn Wells. Her passing today hit me hard, too. I knew her (a little) in Nashville as a mentor and acting teaching. She was good friends with my singing coach, Phoebe Brinkley.

Dawn was dynamic, and very focused on making money, making good theater, and not fooling around. She was a quintessential professional in my view, and I was inspired by her. If I had the grand to take her week-long workshop, I would have.

It's hard to read that she had to sell her possessions to pay bills in recent years. Dementia on top of that AND Covid? Whew.

As for Covid, I had my first Zoom call with a  friend who is recovering from the virus. He looks like Hell-Warmed-Over and says he's "better." Yee-Gawds. And he wasn't one of the 140,000 people trying to get into a hospital... sigh.

Is anyone suffering from the pandemic? it's not discussed much here. It's taken a toll on me in the last couple months. jobs that were contracted a year ago were put on hold and it's catching up now. I had to layoff several crews. one of my helpers is a woman I've known for years. she had a full time job but lost it 4 months ago and I can't help her with any work to cover her lose. her roommate suffered the same problem about a month ago. I gave her a generator to run the power that was cutoff last month. I also bought them a hotplate to cook on and give them food when I can. another friend had to have his boss loan him money to get a battery for his truck to keep working because his wife lost her job. I just sold a cordless backpack blower on Offerup for a friend so he can pay some bills. I have a lot of stories, to many to tell.

Now, we might have more virus strains the vaccine might not cover. money is tight for a lot of people. anyone going through anything like this? I can't say for sure but I think I got the virus back in November or December of 2019. I didn't even know about the virus but was totally taken out of commission health wise. no cold or virus ever did that to me. hard to breath, high temps, chest pains etc. was in bed for days due to weakness.

I consider myself blessed. My job takes me to big industries all over the country that are not going to shut down regardless. Thus, I've stayed busy. My wife works in the the health care field, so she has stayed working as well. We've managed to avoid the virus, but it seems like everyone around us has had it. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that I've had it and never knew it, but it also wouldn't surprise me if I came down with it next week. I have a friend who has people over pretty much every night, shooting pool, playing on a golf simulator, whatever. There's always a crowd there, especially on football Saturdays. I've largely stayed away and a few weeks ago, pretty much everyone over there got Covid. His uncle, who practically raised him passed away from double pneumonia. They said it wasn't Covid, but the timing is awful suspicious since everyone over there had it at the same time. That was a painful loss for his family. My biggest concern was that if I got it, I would give it to my dad who lives next door to me and is 86. But, he managed to get it without my help and had it over the Thanksgiving holiday. Thankfully, he didn't have any major issues with it.

I always try to help people out when I can. It's good to see that you've been doing that Shutter. Little acts of kindness have a huge impact to people that are in need. I hope that with the vaccines now becoming available that we can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But, I also worry about the other strain(s) of the virus and whether or not the vaccine will be effective against them. If not, it's going to get a lot uglier.

I've always made it a point to try and help people whenever I can. my father was the same way. it's probably why I enjoyed working in the Hurricane shutter industry years ago. I like helping people that are in need. why, I haven't a clue. my efforts put me on the radio years ago and never wanted anything more than to help an elderly woman. these are tough times for a lot of people and we all need to help in anyway possible.

I'm glad to see it hasn't affected you. I got through it during the shutdowns thinking I was safe but got a reality check several months ago. things are slowly coming back but still need time to catch up and get things back to normal. these are not happy times for a lot of people in our country. I'm skeptical about the light at the end of the tunnel. I haven't lost any friends or family as of yet. I was worried about my mom but she stayed home and away from everyone unless she had to go to the doctors. I'm out in the public a lot. I think bars are the worse thing to have open because of the stupidity they produce. the beer goggles are put on and they become invincible gathering in large groups in parking lots. a friend told me last month he got the virus from a local bar. several tested positive and it was shutdown. local moose lodge where older crowds meet. He's in his late 60's but got through it with little problems.

Well, damn. It looks like I made the news a couple of weeks back in Virginia. I just found this, but it's a report about a horrible accident that happened at a plant I was at. The accident happened the night before I was there. My main contact was the safety guy for the plant and he had been up all night dealing with it. The guy that died was my age, 54. He had 4 daughters and a son. Horrible situation. Apparently the cab of the crane somehow sheared off and fell and he was crushed by it. That's me at the 36 second mark coming out of the main gate in the grey hoodie. Not really the way I wanted to be on TV.

Hats off to Shutter and Parrothead for offering a helping hand as best they can.
My wife and I are retired and thereby feeling no financial burden whatsoever. As a matter of fact, we are somewhat puzzled why we got sent the $2400 and now again probably another $1200 !
If anything we are spending less on traveling and dining out so we have more money to spend !
Why can’t the government figure that out as there are millions of retirees like us that are experiencing the same situation. We are doing what we can to help out local businesses and locals that are far more in need than ourselves ! We wish everyone a hopeful New Year in 2021 !

Thanks for the kind words Kermit. it's my parents who deserve any credit and not me. it just comes natural to me. it's hard to explain.

anyway, I'm glad to see you are not affected by this crisis and wish you and your family good health and good times during the holiday season.
