Wow ! I rest my case once again ! How ridiculous is this tale ? Cle Elum ? When did flight 305 leave SeaTac and head Easterly towards the Cascades ? Cle Elum must be around 60 miles off the flight plan. These tall tales just detract from actually moving any closer to a solve.

producers are probably already calling them...

Josh Gates will be all over this? .....  all bidders please line up with your offers in a document .... in Python!  Secretaries please apply at the front office by noon tomorrow. Bring your Temp Work agency permits with you. Three months of employment guaranteed

PS: Its a case of the long ears vs the short ears. Who will ride off on an iceberg never to be seen again. Its in the hands of the Gods.  8)

More Cooper in the news is good. Keeps the legend alive. Somebody somewhere, previously oblivious to or uninterested in NORJACK, may have a memory triggered, a relevant clue might be uncovered.

We DBC Forumites don't like the fake Coopers and get snippy about them (myself included), but they serve a valuable function. Every time I think the supply of fake Coopers has been exhausted, I am proven wrong.

Keep em coming: suspects, confessions, books, news conferences, TV specials too. If only Oprah would get involved.

picture below is suppose to be from the 70's..I can't make out the date on the calendar. note some sort of map on the wall as well and the overcoat he is wearing...I'm wondering if Reca became obsessed enough to believe he was Cooper?

November 1977 calendar has the same configuration...

I watched the whole press conference and there was no mention of the clothing that they were supposed to produce. Anyone know about this?

When it came time for the media Q&A, not one single question was asked. Seriously!? What kind of hack journalists were at this thing that not one single person had one single question? I would have asked a million.

You may have hit the nail on the head, maybe he was obsessed with Cooper. To believe their story that was put out today, you have to believe that the FBI had so many of the facts wrong about the case. My personal belief is that they just didn't catch him, but most of the facts are correct that the FBI determined about the Cooper case.

we see these people go off the chart over celebrities..Cooper was sort of a celebrity..he might of been so obsessed over the whole story a new Cooper was born and a new story that he tells becomes the new truth to the unsolved crime he so desires to fit into..I could be way off but when a lot of things don't fit...something is wrong somewhere..

In their scenario the flightpath would have to be almost straight due East from Seattle and continue East of Mount Rainier (14,411 ft elevation)...

... with that I am out.

I am amazed once again by the incredible superhero memory of someone. Just what are they putting in the water up there in the northwest?

With Tom Colbert we had witnesses claiming they remember Norman Dewinter/Robert Rackstraw at a college party or sleeping on a couch 40+ years ago (and with specific dates to boot).

Now we have a guy who remembers being asked for directions by a guy in a diner 40+ years ago. If some stranger asked me for directions in a diner, I would probably forget about it by the next week. It's just not significant enough of an event to stick around in your memory for decades. How do they expect people to believe that these people can remember such insignificant events nearly half a century later? Meanwhile, 10 bucks says "Cowboy Jeff" can't remember what he had for breakfast this morning.

it's blurry but fits November IMO...maybe it was taken outside of the US....It's a attempt to be Cooper so I don't think it matters. the overcoat doesn't fit either..or the glasses...or the hair.or smokes..lol
