I signed up on True.ink last year. Haven't got an e-mail from them since.
The same 77 docs are still there. You are saying there are new ones?

GG's new treasure trove is basically 179 pages of new stuff. Some overlap with his prior 77 pages in our vault and with Colbert's FOIA stuff, but GG's docs are organized into sections - they're not random, and they are not redacted. Plus, these are not copies of copies. The reproduction values are excellent.

I'm sending out the email link because navigating through True.Ink has proven to be too arduous for too many, including me!

Bruce,

As I understand your statements above, Gray has, within the past few days or weeks, released 179 pages of new material.  The only thing I can find are the 77 pages on this site which you indicate are included in the 179 pages.

So are the 179 pages on this (Shutter's) site?  If not, where are they?

I didn't read the transcripts that closely, so I can't say. I hope others are digging into that now. Maybe R99?

As for Gray, his relationhip to us is strange. He never psoted at the DZ, nor here. When others have asked him about that he shrugged, saying that he didn't want any part of the brawling that occurs here with some frequency.

But being an isolate has cost him - and whoever has been supporting his efforts - writing the book, researching it, promoting it and running the 2011 Symposium, sending him back out for the 2013 Tacoma Symposium, and now he wants to jump back into the Vortex with his 179 pages of Hot Stuff? GG is not a flash in the pan, nor is he a lightweight Norjak romper room writer.

But GG has some blind spots. I don't think he really knew what his writing about Norman Hayden would trigger.

So, we're seeing some serious action in Cooper World these days. GG is back in the game and is clearly talented and capable, with plenty of resources. Tom Colbert has 40 feddie-teddies working with him, plus the hot shot Zaid in DC, law suites pending, FOIA, and enough press agents to get his story in front of every editor across the country. He was even pitching to the Morning Dose folks, who called me because he came on so strong with them.

And we have our little gallant gang of men (and a few lassies like Smokin'99 and Evick) chasing down whatever blows our way in the wind. We are not insubstantial at all. Just underfunded and well, emotionally needy too, it appears... ahem. But I digress.

Good times in the Vortex, for sure, though.

Is the Snow Signal Up? How much mountain climbing can that fellow do? Besides El Capitan is falling down. Time to visit the cousins, Uncle Brucie, and the new distant relatives here. Could get interesting.

As my memory serves me - the new 179 pages are generally different. The 179 pages are summary reports, and fresh. They are categorized and appear to be copies of the originals. They are not redacted.

There is some overlapping information, such as info from Tina, but in the main the 179 appear to be different docs from the 77 pages that Shutter was able to archive in the vault here a year or two ago. I hadn't read the files there in the past year, so my memory is a but hazy, and it further clouded by what I've been reading from Colbert and the FOIA stuff.

I hope you will check out the new 179 pages and give us a better idea of its value, especially along the lines of flight communications and transcripts.

I trust you are able to access the 179 pages at GG's True.Ink website. I sent you a link, as that seemed to be the only way to distribute the docs.

It has a lot of new info...several people plotting the jump area/spot...the problems with the search area having to much brush allowing for oversight in finding anything of value...the drop test, and flight path related material..

I have to try and contact Gray before they are posted into the vault..he didn't have a problem the last time...

For those not able to access new GG's files with whatever I've sent out, one can always go to the KING 5 website, search for Chris Ingalls and the 11. 24. 17 broadcast, and click on their hyperlink to the Cooper stuff. Ingalls interviewed GG in that segment and they made a big deal out of GG's wanting the public to help find DB Cooper.

Got the e-mails from Shutter and printed out the whole 179 pages.  Also did some fast reading of some of them.  New information of special interest below.

Boeing test pilots did lower the aft stairs a number of times in flight during the initial testing of the 727 in 1963/1964.  Boeing also sold several 727s to Air America who were interested in lowering the aft stairs in flight, stating that they wanted to drop food supplies in remote locations.

Apparently, all of the Air America 727s had to lower the stairs at the rear of the aircraft in the same manner that they were lowered while on the ground.  This simple fact undermines Cooper's statement that the stairs could be lowered from the cockpit.  This, plus Cooper's problems in lowering the stairs even after having been told how to do so by Tina, leads me to believe that Cooper had never been a direct participant in any operations involving lowering the aft stairs prior to the hijacking.

Apparently, the initial flight path predictions were revised and moved several miles to the west during the ground search.  Oddly enough, the flight path was estimated using information from the flight data recorder and radar.  With the flight crew available, and they presumably keep a navigation log, it seems that they did not have any input into the flight path discussions, which is just plain weird.

More to come.

I read through the flight comms section such as it is and found nothing new? Was that your conclusion.

The SAT 727 drop tests over Thailand appear to have the stairs removed. I conclude this by looking at the videos. Agree?
