Still have power..winds are really bad. Probably steady for some time now..if someone k ows how I have video on our you tube channel you can see and post..just my phone to use now.

Nasty bands are coming in..bad ones...it stops goes down to 30 mph and a punch of wind it's for a few seconds...trees flying branches etc.

A very severe band is on it's way...each one intensifies as they come getting worse with each one...still not a lot of rain ..it's hard rain but not as much as I have seen with other hurricanes

2:00 severe weather...winds are very high with horizontal rain..trees down in the circle...front of house.,.in my truck to get my charger..,truck rocking back and forth.,.going back inside.

Just saw a film clip of Victoria Park in F.L. on CBS. No major damage. Barely a Cat 1 in sw Florida.

Trouble with service...everything is ok.,power still down. No internet..phone not working till now....

Phone somewhat working...power down, internet. Just about every traffic light is off...lots of people on the road already...this was one hell of a storm..lots of trees blocking roads..nothing is open.

Today will be a day of recovery and damage control. I have roof damage as well as my mom's house. Can't believe the screen enclosure survived the pounding. Can't post long..

I'm home now...not too much damage..big mess outside though. had to build a dock to get in and out of my truck due to the streets being flooded all the way up my driveway.

This was one hell of a storm and couldn't imagine a direct hit. roads have big tree's all over the place, you have to zig zag through them. they are out in force clearing the roads. businesses are slow to open. gasd stations are not open as of yet..

I agree, a direct hit would have been catastrophic.
