Bruce,

Two more things to ask Vern Jones...

1. Reca says in the audio recording that his face looked like a peeled beet after crash landing into the tree. He implied his face was pretty smashed up. "Cowboy" Jeff made no mention of that in the press conference. He noted that reca was wet, but nothing about a smashed up face. What gives?

2. Lisa Story said reca gave a notarized confession to the FBI? In the press conference, she said that she stopped him from signing it. Again, what gives?

4. Hurley said that the public's response to their announcement and rollout has been "fantastic."

Like I said..the producers are probably calling him now...lots of gullible people in this world...

377, would there be any reason skydivers would be in that area? just wondering if he's feeding off a true story that's not related to the Cooper case...the area hasn't changed much over the years..kind of odd he would hit the last row of tree's..I could see that if it was daylight though...

1. Good point, Duke.
2. It is my understanding that Lisa gave the notarized confession to a FBI agent after Walt's death.

377 - Can We Get a Legal Ruling Here, Please!

Is everyone who kept this story a secret liable for an obstruction of justice charge? I thought that a function of citizenship is that everyone is legally required to report a crime they witness or are aware of in a timely fashion - except spouses.

Where were they and why, on the night of Nov 24, 1971

1. Walter Reca - Cle Elum, WA
2. Richard McCoy - Las Vegas, NV
3. Duane Weber - with the other wife; #3, I believe.
4. Jack Collins - not at home with family in Everett, WA
5. Kenny C - not at Thanksgiving dinner with Bernie's sister, as scheduled
6. Barb Dayton - skipped T-Day with the wife and kids, and didn't call mom in California, either.
7. Wolfie - not on duty at college in Utah
8. Don Burnworth - on the lam in Hamburg, with the three girls
9. Ted Mayfield - on the phone with Himmelsbach, but where was the pay phone?
10. Petey - Nepal, but it wasn't a mud hut as first reported; rather it a stick-frame house with mud plastering. Baby crying in the background.
11 Uncle LD - Late to grandma's...again... but Dewey was driving
12. Sgt Ted Braden - hmmmmm... not drinking in Saigon as far as we know....
13. Fred Hahneman - not in Easton, PA, it seems...
14. "Jake" the forger - temporarily released from Walla-Walla and reportedly in his car in Amboy, WA. Parked on the corner of West Creek Road and Bunscombe Hollow Rd.; reportedly awaiting the arrival of a male Caucasian.

Let the Hunt begin.

Here's a video of Walter and all the principals. One scene shows Walter in March 1972. I don't see any strong resemblance to the sketches.

Some new shit came into town yesterday and the DBC Forum junkies got all pumped up.

Was supposed to be real good stuff. Got high just thinking about the possibilities.

It was totally fake, not even real stuff heavily cut. Thinking about Methadone... but not really. The Vortex still beckons.

I can't see any reason for skydivers to be there, esp at night... although they are known to gather at dive bars and brothels.

I was trying to see if any skydiving occurred there that he might of been a part of and possibly give reason to that location..I was thinking he might of hit that tree in broad daylight in another jump trying to land in the field. just a bad landing situation.

eye colour,,,  blue/gray

You have an amazing imagination in addition to being super-quick! How many teeth is he missing? What's his dna? Looks like an efficiency apartment or a trailer?

The guy likes cheap art hung on the walls with wires and double stick tape - cant afford a frame? Moves around a lot? Lost in his search for meaning and comfort? When is his next appointment at Social Svcs?  ::)

Trying to use the quote form here, hopefully I did not mess it up.  Georger, you mention the teeth, maybe jokingly, maybe you have some info that few have.  However, I have a question on that.  I've read in a previous post that he had two crooked front teeth.  Can someone point me to the testimony that discussed his teeth?  For all the descriptions and composites, there is minimal info on his teeth.  I would think that teeth would be quite a memorable part of someone, especially if they were a heavy smoker.  What were Cooper's teeth like?  Could he have been missing a lot of teeth, maybe even most of his teeth, except for his front ones?

A suspect named Dick Lepsy is the only person attached to the Cooper case with two front teeth that are crooked that I'm aware of..
