it's sounds like you are implying the high waters brought the money, but how did the frags get to different levels, or depths?
No Im not saying that - the original cause is uncertain. But the high waters and erosion definitely may have redistributed it once it was there. Along with erosion affects due to tides and winter melts ...
The Fazio's moved the sand around with dozers. They also had loaders and dump trucks involved in moving some of that sand further inland to other locations on their farm. Hager said he witnessed that many times. He also said there were other dredgings between 1971 and 1974, documented or not. I think the money may have been buried higher up on the bank (at some time close to the hijacking).High water events (and erosion) could have eventually moved some bundles down the bank toward the river.at that point they would be at lower location than original location. Between the dozers and loaders( and possibly dredgings) the shard field would be created. Hager said the shoreline in that area changed a lot over the years due to the erosion.
It would be interesting to see what the location of the 3 bundles looked like in 1971. I am not saying the 3 bundles moved. I am saying that at the time they were buried that spot was much higher up the bank. It would be interesting to see the shoreline of that area as it looked in 1971.
By the way, in reference to comments made on this thread awhile back by 377 and Georger and others....There were some shady characters occupying the other side of the river. Hager knew some of them personally. One of them (D. B.'s partner ran one of his businesses (illegal business) from the docks that are located almost straight across from Tina Bar.(maybe just a hair to the north) He had booze and other bar supplies delivered there (tax free on the Oregon side) and sold it tax free to many bars on the Washington side.(very illegal but very profitable)
Human enterprise occurs in all forms everywhere at all times historically - nothing new about that! Too imply Cooper and the Ingrams and Fazios were involved etc etc etc requires some proof. Where's the proof?
Likewise allegation of more sand movements, dumpings, dredgings etc all of which landed on Tina Bar - is nothing new. Show some actual proof for a change. Dozers, tractors, loaders, dump trucks, etc all moving sand around between 1971 and 1974? Again some proof would be nice. The Fazio were not even in the sand business with County, State, and Federal contracts until about 1976? So they were operating illegally before then? Again these stories require proof.
Did the rum runners on the Oregon side happen to release bottles from their side and have them wash up on Tina Bar? Was the Cooper cash possibly delivered to Tina Bar in empty Cutty bottles? A ship in a bottle, as it were?
Will radiation from Hanford and target shooting at Cooper bundles be in the Cooper Store soon?
