It's all very simple: How does the evidence stack up to Duane Weber.

1) Bill Mitchell (first-hand witness) said he wasn't the guy.
2) DNA doesn't match according to FBI.
3) I have yet to hear a reasonable explanation of how he acquired knowledge about the 727 and skydiving, and managed to get commercially pure titanium, aluminum, high-grade stainless steel, and an array of rare earth elements on his tie.
4) I have yet to see a sketch that remotely resembles the guy.
Some men see things as they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?

these confessions are misleading. It makes it sound like people are walking into the FBI office and spilling their guts. Its really just guys telling drunk stories to impress friends, family and the ladies. its a comment here or there or ever elaborate stories. Not a police station interrogation confession. Many people tell stories. and for the sketch to be the key to finding DB dont let the fool you. I have attached a copy of the suspect sketch in the Richard Floyd McCoy Jr case before they were tipped off that it was McCoy. disguise or no disguise it doesnt even come close to McCoy. He got on the plane then entered the bathroom to put on his disguise. Not one person mentioned his Big Ears before he placed his disguise on.

The disguise did what is what suppose to do. then they had to recall what McCoy really looked like. it's a totally different situation vs the Cooper case.

The actual photo of McCoy was shown to the Cooper witnesses and that's when the ears came into question. his hair is much shorter and exposes his ears. the wig appears to have hidden or taken away the effect of them sticking out. Cooper's hair was short as well.

I have begun to suspect that a lot of guys confess is because they wanna be DB Cooper, AND a lot of their families want them to be DBC, too - and they know it.

"It would be so cool, if he was DB Cooper," Don Burnworth's daughter told me. That's one example.

Barb's another: She certainly shut up all those yappy, cynical pilots she flew with!

I think this is the best reasoning for their lying about this. And they are liars, no doubt.  So lets hope and pretend the real DB Cooper is out there and somehow still alive in his 90s.  Well, DB, you have to get your vaccine. I doubt anyone would recognize you now. Go get your vaccine because we want you alive.  Not to jail you, just to meet you.  And if by some miracle you are reading this forum, great job man!!!!

Does anyone know if they ever had Tina Mucklow do a voice comparison to the higher ranked suspects?  Your voice does not change much.  If one of them was really him, which I strongly doubt, she would possibly recognize his voice.  It’s worth a shot since they tossed the good DNA?

Wouldn't you think those cops would have considered doing this?  Unreal

Depends on who it was or if they dismissed with no need for voice. most are dead before they become a suspect. I tend to believe they have seen the well known suspects with the dozens and dozens of shows, websites, newspapers etc. some have been in the media over a decade. most of them fail to try and contact the witnesses, some do.

Tina struggled when listening to Rackstraw. this would be hard decades later to try and remember vs a picture IMO.

Getting Tina Mucklow to give a listen to the highly ranked suspects, obviously they are deceased so it would have to be on tape if they exist?  It would be worth a shot. But it sounds like she is not having any of it?  From what I have read here?  Correct me if I am wrong.  But I would have her do it without knowing which one is which, a blind experiment if you will and of course include Sheridan Peterson for sure. She had the interaction with him for 5 hours.  Its possible a voice could ring a bell and then perhaps it would give some hint as to any of them are really him or not?  Its certainly a reach like everything else without those cigarette butts.  But its worth trying if someone could get her to participate.  Have at it Bruce!  Give her a call!!!!  LOL
This is cold case where you still have the main witness still alive!  Perhaps that could pay off more than science at this point?  What is there to lose?

You call her, 57. I've pressed my luck with Tina as far as I think prudent.

You know Bruce, all joking aside, she IS the most important piece of this entire puzzle at this very late stage of the game.  Yet,  I DO NOT SEE HER ON THE GUEST LIST AT THE BIG EVENT YOU ALL HAVE SCHEDULED!!!! If she is, my apologies.   She is the one you need. She is the one that can help solve this now more than anyone. No good DNA. Where is the idiot that lost the cigarettes?  Without any good DNA you need either the money, or something like the brief case and not even one of the parachutes out in weather for half a century is of any use any more.  TINA MUCKLOW. She is the key.  And Flo Shafner would not hurt.  But Tina spent 5 hours with him. One podcast, the one I like, infamous America, says he even had a cigarette with him after quitting.  She developed a type of "hostage and kidnapper" type of bond with him. If only you could get her to sit down and listen to all of the top suspects.  To either finger them or eliminate them.  You do not tell her which one she is listening to. Its kind of like a police lineup but with voices instead of faces.  You make sure the first one is someone that is not relevant to make sure the test is clean so to speak. Then you try to gather tapes of those like Rackstraw, Reca, Peterson, Christianson, Weber, McCoy, etc and use only words that we know Cooper spoke. Like "looks like" when he said "looks like Tacoma down there".  You go through them. If one of them makes her jump out of her chair, you have a hit. If not, you can pretty much bet that none of them are the real DB, which is the likely case. But its one more step to solving this.  TINA MUCKLER.   She is soooooo important in this. She is the only one living that "knew him".  A voice recognition is better than a psychic looking at this IMO.  Is she unwilling to talk to anyone or just pissed at you?
If you have any tapes of them saying "no funny stuff" or something that was one of those unforgettable phrases by him, it would help. Now I know some will attack me and say, its been too long.  Studies have been done, and yes I studied Psychology and did very well in it. You probably know about ones where they stimulated parts of the brain and memories have been resurrected after years .  RECALL.  That is the key. Its not out of the realm that Tina could be stimulated into a recall event if she heard HIS VOICE.  Thats all.  Carry on.

I don't think Tina has any interest in participating in Cooper Con or any other event. I know that in recent years and months, she has came out of the woodwork and been on a couple of docs about Cooper, but my guess is that she was probably paid pretty well to do so. Otherwise, I'd say she is still as reluctant as ever. I'm sure Eric will try, but I'd say he gets the real bigfoot to participate before he gets Tina.

Bigfoot vs. Tina? Smile... Even odds, I should say.

However, Tina has begun talking to people, at least conversationally. But NOT me, nor Galen. Eric is pitching CC21 as the definitive moment in time for all the NORJAK principals to state their perspectives for the history books without any filters of FBI, editors, or Hollywood producers. I think that might carry the day with Tina. Also, if Bill Rataczak can make it, that would go a long way to motivating Tina into attending.

Larry Carr is another whom we need to get to CC21. I'm working on that with Eric and Darren, and others. Legal hang-ups.
