Yes, exactly, Robert99. For those seeking advance planning, the channeled entity, "Bashar," is giving workshops on how to prepare for direct contact with ETs. In his case, he says that the "Grays" are in the first batch to say HELLO! He says that open contact will occur in 2023, after the current wave of UFO disclosures runs its course.

As for Bigfoot, I hear they have a fondness for Red Delicious apples. Gotta buy a bunch of those, and have them on hand in case I have unexpected visitors of the hairy sort....

I wonder what QAnon says about all of this????

Bigfoot, UFOs, Alien Abductions, DBC.... there's a new term I've heard for ALL of this: "High Strangeness."

The UFO crowd are getting into EVERYTHING, including Remote Viewing. Imagine my delight when my Vancouver audience began grilling me on which remote viewers I had talked to about DBC! They thought my list of David Morehouse, Joe McMoneagle, and Steven Schwartz was FAR too limited...

Speaking of which, History Channel has a new series out on the Mother of All High Strangeness - Skinwalker Ranch. The take a super creepy angle on it, but they have the balls to go in every direction, including bringing in a rabbi steeped the rituals, chants, and prayers for invoking contact with the unseen. That was Very Cool.

Lunacy and fruit cakes seem to be a growth industry.  What are these people going to do if the "unseen" contacts them?  Advance planning on this possibility would be a good idea.
One might see this as you have gone from complete sceptic to on the fence?  What in the hell would we say to them first?  Where are you from?   How long have you been watching us?  By the way, do you have a cure for Covid and Cancer?

I went home yesterday. Went to Elsinore and made my first jump in a year. To best do my recurrency, I did a recurrency (as the instructor) for a friend of mine. Gave him a second out the door so I could do the 'Dave Wilds Maneuver' to catch up to him. (The 'Dave Wilds Maneuver', as in actually Dave Wilds, is seen at 0:52 in the video. White jumpsuit, blue rig.)

It was glorious...

dudeman, you may have been in the same airspace as our friend DB, if you believe he jumped there in 1971.

There is a recent Netflix 4 part series called This is a Robbery.  It is about the art heist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum in Boston in the early 90's.  I enjoyed it, although some say it was slow.  One piece I found very interesting was that a lab in Chicago did some microscopic analysis for the investigation.  The lab was McCrone, well known to us in the DB Cooper case.

Congrats on getting back in the air dudeman. I’m scheduled to resume jumping in August.

I got my SCR (award for being in a freefall formation of 8 or more jumpers) at Elsinore in the mid 1970s. Skip Evan’s DC 3 was the jumpship used. My qualifying formation had 13 jumpers. We joined in a circle quickly and held it to break off altitude. I was jumping my $50 surplus rig with a C9 canopy. I was stoked. When I returned to Pope Valley, my then home DZ, the local RW skygods were hardly congratulatory. “Who did you steal the SCR patch from Mark?” They wanted to be absolutely clear that I hadn’t made it into their league.

The FBI reportedly paid particular attention to Elsinore in the Cooper investigation. It was rumored to be a place where covert agencies recruited jumpers. I never was recruited, nor was I interviewed by the FBI. Darn.

I can’t believe anyone takes Bigfoot seriously. But many do. No carcasses. No bones. No scat. If it doesn’t poop it’s one hell of an amazing mammal.

I’m not impressed by the Navy UFO footage. To me it has earmarks of optical system artifacts and servo stabilization creating the illusion of object movement. But I wasn’t there. I did work at Hughes when Navy F14 pilots reported very odd images/targets appearing on their radars which we made. Turned out to be hair thin tin solder dendrites from a hybrid circuit can that dropped down onto an exposed IC bridging normally isolated circuits and generating intermittent display anomalies.

Some Navy fliers interpreted widely separated sequential screen positions of these dendrite generated images as evidence of very high target speeds. In this case there were no real targets reflecting transmitted microwave pulses.

Thank you. Hopefully your re-entry is as smooth and fun as mine was.

Skip had a number of 3's over the years, but if it was his main one, N26MA, that is the same 3 that was used in the James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', and several other productions. It is now owned by the Conatsers at Perris, supposedly Ben bought it for Melanie as a personal plane.

I'm curious...   If a 3-letter agency had attempted to recruit you, would you have done it?

Nope. I’m just not a CIA kind of guy. Although in a few of his rants Sheridan Peterson alleged that I was CIA. He was wrong. Maybe it was the pot calling the kettle black.  ;)

The CIA was recruiting electrical engineers when I graduated. But it held no appeal for me. I didn’t apply. An EE friend of mine did get a job with the CIA. He described it as a typical fed bureaucracy. Tons of paperwork and, at least for him, no James Bond stuff at all.

I am not convinced that the CIA actually did recruit at Elsinore. Jumpers like to spin stories. Dudeman have you seen any evidence supporting that claim?

Had the CIA offered to train me to fly their A12 aircraft (SR 71 predecessor operated by the CIA) perhaps I would have accepted.

I can’t recall the reg number of the DC 3 used for my SCR jump. I did make many jumps from Skip’s DC 3 N26MA when he brought it to the World Free Fall Convention. I love old propliners. My jumps include many Beech 18s and C 45s. Probably seven or eight different DC 3s, C 54G, ATL 98 Carvair, a 1958 vintage C 130A, Lockheed Lodestar and others. Missed getting to jump from a Lockheed Constellation. Went to three events where Connie jumps were scheduled but the Connie was a no show.

How about you dudeman. Would you have taken a CIA job if offered?

I know a guy that is a pilot for the CIA. At least I used to know him. He was a brother in law to one of my best friends and we used to hang out a lot. He was hired by the CIA around 2002 or 2003 I guess. I've only spoken to him once in the last ten years or so. From the couple of things that he told me, it doesn't sound like a job that I would want. I'm sure it pays well though.

If Bigfoot exists, his greatest skill is the ability to show himself only to those that lack the ability to take a clear photograph or video.

Comedian Mitch Hedberg says...

I think Bigfoot is blurry. it's not the photographers fault..there is a large out of focus monster roaming the country side.

I would love Richard Lepsy to be DB Cooper because if they did a movie, we would know Cooper's backstory.

There are a lot of good movies to be had among the suspects. My favorites: Dom Burnworth, Jack Scott Farmer, William Gossett. There is even a movie star who was investigated by the FBI as a Cooper suspect.

Andrade, you know what I'd do?

I'd have a DB Cooper suspect series of all the suspects. One episode would be the Weber story. Second one was would be Richard McCoy, third episode would Lespy and etc. Because they all have great back stories.

It would be a great series, DB88. All the suspects have interesting back stories - don't forget Barb!

And Barb! I'd make that the third episode.
