Let's forget that Reca was Cooper. Do you think that Reca was actually in the diner in Cle Elum on 11. 24. 71? If so, why? An MKULTRA mission? Got lost on his way home from a Halloween party? Just another drunken stroll in the rain on a Wednesday night?

Or do you think the WHOLE enchilada is bs? That Jeff Osiadacz is lying and Carl fabricated it all, and Jeff went along with it?

First off I took a nasty fall while on a fishing trip and suffered a fractured Fibula and recently had ankle surgery so my running is confined to my home right now !
As I said, the entire story is fabricated to sell some books. Is Reca qualified to make the jump ? Probably but so are a lot of others ! Our own 377 could do the jump in his sleep ! So should we make a video and start writing a book ?

Kermit, I can agree with you to a certain extent..this is a new story surrounding DB Cooper..is it believable, probably not..too many problems. this is considered a technical site that digs into the case. Reca unfortunately falls into this category. this tread itself has a vast range of topics...I don't think it's fair for me to censor any suspects based on them being false claims.

377, has stated many times that he will just gloss over things that don't interest him..I also choose to ignore certain things posted about suspects..

The Reca story does show how gullible people can be..personally, I wouldn't give them a dime to even attempt to make any kind of sense to what they are claiming..I can read it for free..

Sorry to hear that you are kinda busted up, Kermit. But at least we have a captive audience! (So to speak...)

I'm intrigued with Jeff Osiadacz. I believe he saw something, and met someone. If it was Walt Reca, what was Reca doing there in Cle Elum, especially when the real DB Cooper was flying towards Portland and Reno. If it wasn't Walt in the woods, who was it and why were they roaming in the middle of the Cascades on the night before Thanksgiving?

Yes, it's possible the whole Reca-Osiadacz story is fabricated. But what if it isn't?

So far, I'm "Oh-for-Two" on calling Osiadacz. Not looking good for truthiness, I must say.

I'm also impressed with the hubris of the Laurin-Principia crowd. They are a real piece of work. It takes some real balls to tell the whole world that the FBI, the crew, and the passengers of 305 are all full of shit. Not even Blevins has the cajones and stupidity to pull off a stunt like that.

If you're looking for a way to kill an hour, check out the series Numb$rs, Episode "Old Soldiers" Season 6, episode 10.  It is based on the DB Cooper hijacking.  This was a great series, and educational at the same time.  Link to IMDB below.  I thought I remembered the show The Pretender having a clip where the main character sort of remote views into DB Cooper, but I can't seem to track it down. Probably my imagination.

In reality, it may just go back to the original FAA mandated certification flight tests in 1963.  But that would just spoil a good story.

television “pitches” things to the networks..here is an email from Atlas..they were trying to make a Cooper series and I was picked along with 3 others to be on the panel..

So I got feedback today from producers and we’d like to cast you as part of the investigation team for the series!

The next step if you’re on board is I will be sending you a standard talent agreement between you and Atlas Media.

Basically it’s a good faith agreement that says you grant us permission to pitch on your behalf to networks and you agree not to sign with other production companies or networks for a DB Cooper project.

We make these for 12 months only because it’s a process and we do have to wait on network answers. Of course we’re going to make every effort to sell it quickly.

Once the show is sold – then we will know more details like how many episodes, shooting schedules, pay, etc.

For the agreement – I just need an address, I have your phone/email. This will all be done through email but we need an address for the agreement.

So Congratulations! We’re excited to work with you. Please send me that info ASAP and call me with any questions!

Cooper's heirs if the case was closed?  For example, if he's dead, and in his will he left money, or left a house, etc.  Could the government say the house was bought with stolen money and then take money from the heirs, even if they had no idea that their relative was D.B. Cooper?  I assume the heirs could probably make some good money on film or book rights, but could the IRS say they owe the money their father/grandfather/uncle etc. stole?

I would think that it was stolen money so it should be returned. The government would have to reopen the case it's closed without being solved.

By no means am I proud of what is going on over on TMN..Robert has been caught in several lies concerning the purchase of the house. the worst thing he did was post a comment about my friend who died in a motorcycle accident. he made accusations of me not being sympathetic to his family and blaming him for killing someone else on the back of the bike..none of it was true..to top it off he posted a mugshot of Chuck..that's about as low as one can go IMO.

He has turned the thread into a circus or to be more specific, the DZ..

he's currently trying squirm his way out of comments about having the promissory note on the purchase of the house..half the board has called him a unstable person and a liar, but he keeps on truck'n lol..

He's pretty much lost his mind at this point  it's funny watching him work..the other thing he did that was out of line was accuse another member here that has a book of shilling reviews, so I had him remove his review and made a video of all the shills Farflung caught him in..he was screaming to remove his address posted who knows when on this site..I told him it's clearly visible on 5 different sites and you don't have to even click on them to see the information.

Parrot has jumped in a time or two..he's getting so easy to catch that he makes Bob Knoss look like a saint
