Is there any way to fix it so that when we select a certain discussion that it takes us to the last page of the discussion instead of the first page? Just like TOS did. This may be something that I have to set in my profile, but I didn't see anything like that. Thanks.

Yes, it's a bit of pain, but after you are ready to post your comment. look below where it says attachments and other options. click on that and you will see "return to topic" check it. I'm trying to resolve the issue so we don't have to do that.

Not sure if this is what you are talking about, but there is another way to return to topic without checking the return to topic button on each post.
If you go to profile, then account settings, then modify profile, then layout and look, there one that says return to topic by default. (this is for after you post, it takes you back to the topic instead of the main screen)

Also you can have it default to" last post on top" there also. Not a perfect fix, but at least you're on the right page.

Ok, I understand now, I misread your post the other day. I'll go in and change everyone's so they won't have that problem  8)

I would welcome Jo to this site, but first I think that she should offer a written apology to me and all those whom she has defamed with untruths and thinly veiled charcter assassinations.

I have repeatedly told Jo that over the phone, in emails and on forums. Speciifically, I have insisted on an written apology from her both at the DZ and on the Word Press blog, but Jo refuses.  She has planted her flag, and she's not moving towards reconciliation.

Frankly, Shutter, I am surprised that you let Jo get this far.  I'm disappointed. I consider Jo Weber to be highly toxic and destructive.

If Jo is here, I'm not.

Well, first of all she signed in after on was off the computer. I wanted to hear your side of what to do. please understand where I am with this. how about we put Jo on hold until she speaks with you. I have a lot on my plate at the moment. I just got home, so let me know what you think about my direction. I just received an email from her last night speaking of not coming onto either site. I didn't reply to the email. I woke up and seen she signed in. life is not over at this point. I value your opinion, so that is what I have come up with.

as it stands now, it's two against her right now. I will email her about the decision of holding her joining back until she speaks with you. that sounds fair to me?

Please Advise.

Added: I sent Jo an email explaining the reasons for the hold. she can not post at this time. from this point, I believe the problem should be solved offline.

Of course, do what you think is best for the Cooper discussion.  For me, I need Jo to be held accountable for her actions. If this forum fails to do that, then I am unable to participate.

I know that sounds like "It's either me or Jo," but I see it as insisting on civil behaviors from all posters at all times.  Jo has baggage.  She doesn't come here fresh, so she needs to apologize.

Plus she has the DZ. She has made her bed over there, so to speak, so let her sleep there.

My opinion, though not sought, is that if Jo and Bruce can make peace then I'm all for her being allowed on.

I just think it needs to be made abundantly clear that talk about suspects are posted in the right place. This, of course, goes for everyone. I say that, because I'm sure it's just a matter of time before greycop shows up.

I may make that Cowards List yet!!!

Unfortunately we have no room for Paul either. he really screwed up posting phone numbers. there will be no community effort to save him. although we are still missing some key members, I hope we can continue the fresh air that this has provided. I don't look forward to blocking people, but decisions must be made to keep order in the house. I spoke with Jo by email several times tonite. she understands what transpired, and why. that's all I have to say about this issue. it's such a thrill going thru these categories and seeing good things posted. I want this atmosphere to continue. it's up to us as a group to allow this.  8)

How do you work this thing? Now is this going to be the preferred site for all discussions?

Hi Jerry, welcome to the forum. once you signed in you should see a area called General Discussion. click on that and different categories will be listed. just pick one and then you can read and catch up, or skip thru the pages. if you have any problems past that point just let me know. I'll guide you thru them.

we are hoping this will be a preferred site, but that will tell with time.

Welcome aboard, Jerry.  What's new in your part of Cooper World?  We missed you in Tacoma and Ariel last November.  What happened?

I think everything has been taken care of. Jo will not be posting on the forum. Bruce is valued highly to me  and this forum.

The guy was a trip that's for sure. I wonder what his story is now? he claims just about everyone with the FBI agreed with his evidence, but no headlines yet  8)

I'm trying something new on the Word Press discussion site.  I've formed a new page based upon the first chapter of my book on Cooper.  I think it might give that other site a new twist or a second reason to visit it.

The current site here seems to be gaining strength - so we can share information and  have healthy discussions here - while "my" site can be a platform for focused comments or an expanded form of discussion. Besides, my book needs some kind of platform and Internet presence.

I hope it doesn't take anything away from this site, but only expand our options. If it gets in the way or fragments our focus on Cooper, I make a change.

Here's the link to my site: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
