Is it the "robert isaac harker" that describes himself on Linkedin as
"Actor, voice artist, presenter" ?

or a different one?

oh god, it is. A vaudevillian.

Just saw this from Bruce in May about WSHM Cooper Broadcast mentioning Edwards

4. Another DBC book is coming out: DB Cooper and Flight 305 - Re-examining the Hijacking and Disappearance, by Robert H. Edwards, Ph.D. Due September 28, 2021 from Schiffer Publishing in Pennsylvania.

Edwards is approaching this case from a mathematician's perspective, and has re-investigated the flight paths. He says he has five new LZs that need to be examined. Dr. Edwards has been orbiting me and others in the Vortex for years, asking questions and conducting his research. Most of his research has been conducted via the Internet, with strong reliance on WSHM interviews, which has forged a bond with the WSHM - who considers him a kindred soul, it appears. Edwards also says that he has read approximately 19,000 pages from the FBI's Vault. He was born in the UK and now lives in eastern Europe.

Robert H. Edwards

D. B. Cooper and Flight 305: Reexamining the Hijacking and Disappearance Hardcover – November 24, 2021

This book looks at the case from the perspective of a mathematician and pilot. It uses previously unexamined data and original-source documents, combined with the tools of statistics, aeronautics, and meteorology, to show where and how the FBI could resume the search and possibly find out at last who "D. B. Cooper" really was.

Dudeman17, Snowmman, and everyone else.  With apologies to Bruce Smith and other Cooper writers, I strongly suspect that the above book by Dr. Edwards will be the defining publication on the Cooper hijacking.  He knows how to do research and he has indeed developed original sources and information that most of us on this site have never heard of before or perhaps even imagined existed.

Dr. Edwards is a poster here on Shutter's site and has also posted on DropZone.  Dudeman17, refer to my recent PM's to you.  Recently, Snowmman posted something from an unidentified site that was made several years ago by "Robert Isaac Harker" which happens to be Dr. Edwards motion picture screen name.  So he is a very multi-talented person.  He is probably on a first-name basis with everyone in the FBI's FOIA office.

Dr. Edwards lives in England but he has lived in various places around the world including the USA, Canada, Far East, Middle East, Central Europe, etc...

Amazon gives the publication date as November 24, 2021 which, of course, is the 50th anniversary of the hijacking.  Dr. Edwards promised me a complimentary copy of the book a few months ago.  November 24th happens to also be my birthday and this will probably be the best birthday present that I have received in a long, long time. ;D

Amazon lists the pre-publication price as $27.00 and if you are not one of the several people on Shutter's site that have complimentary copies coming, I would suggest that you pre-order it now.
So, based on your effusive praise, I guess we are to assume that the author concludes that the plane flew over Tena?

I don't have the slightest idea what he concludes.  But I am willing to bet that whatever Dr. Edwards concludes will be solidly based on science and not wild-eyed speculation.

What secrecy?

Since you published at least a substantial part of his vita on this site a few weeks back, why are you now inquiring about it?  Don't you read your own posts? ???

Are you restricted to crayons where you live? ::)

I think maybe they were speaking figuratively, though. But maybe not? who knows.

Clarke Mayer has written a great Kindle book.
released on 11/24/21 I believe it needs a little promotion

it is only $5.99 (kindle)

I really like how he uses the Robin character to explore female heroes. This should be considered the bible for the subject.
I don't know if Clarke is working with the film producers and Tina. But who knows? We can only hope

This is the book I wish I could have written.
Caveats: I have not read the book.

-Dr. Dr. Snowman

Part of the Clarke's mastery here, is the title choice of "Incendiary"..a synonym for "Smoking Hot"

Incendiary Nov 24, 2021
by Clarke Mayer
$5.99
Al Ader is dying and doesn’t have much time left. Determined to leave a legacy behind, he devises a plan to mystify the masses…and the authorities. Armed with a bomb, he hijacks a commercial airliner on Thanksgiving Eve of 1971. If he can survive long enough, he might solidify his place in history as a folk hero.

Robin Kraft is getting married, if she can make it through this flight. As authorities scramble to intervene, Robin must comply with Al’s demands if she is going to keep her passengers—and herself—safe and alive.

Fundamental disagreements between the airline’s owner and FBI agents about how to handle the situation only further endanger everyone involved. Caught on opposite sides of a deadly dance in midair, Al and Robin must form a devil’s pact where no matter what happens, Al won’t get out alive. The only question is, how many people will he take out with him before he goes?

Snow, I don’t really understand your disdain for a book you have never read written by a man you’ve never met.

I could understand if you had read it and thought it was total bullshit and went point by point as to why, but as it stands it seems you have decided out of hand to denigrate the book, or are envious of the attention and accolades Dr. Edwards is receiving.

I have a great deal of respect for you as a researcher but frankly your behavior in regards to this book has been perplexing and unbecoming.

I know my opinion means less than nothing to you, but I just don’t get it.

Chaucer, I'm touched at the opportunity to expand your knowlege of humans.
The honor is mine.
Got to go: more superbly annotated books to review! Facts galore! head spins!
No time to discuss.
I do fart in front of company, I will admit.
