Here ya go Bruce........

Ya got me, Shut!  Okay, so now I guess I'm gonna have to talk about my sex life, and yours...

I wonder if DB had sexual longings for Tina?  I think yes, but I don't think he acted out his desires.

I just heard from Jerry Thomas that Ralph Himmelsbach is hale and hearty.  I had received a couple emails recently asking me if RH had passed away.  Since my relationship with Ralph is a tad uneven, I thought I ask his colleague.

What about the missing plane? I just got home and haven't looked into the story for a while?

I think all the speculation is interesting, but I'm sadly thinking there is probably a better than good chance that the plane and all aboard are at the bottom of a very huge, very deep body of water and no one has gotten close enough to hear pings or see wreckage if it even made it to the surface or did not re-sink.
......Unless, of course, it's in a hangar or on a runway somewhere, was shot down by mistake or on purpose, crashed in some desolate mountain region, was abducted by aliens, or is still flying in some twilight zone alternate reality.

I need to catch up on it. I haven't had much time to really look into what happened. I heard a little on the news, and what's posted on DZ.

And my expertise on aviation ends at being able to spell it, but I do think that this guy makes a lot of sense. Who knows...maybe because stories are changing as fast as they have, we all love a mystery. and no one wants to give up on the plane, everyone is jumping to a lot of conclusions......

Interesting part here:

And at least one news report described altitude excursions between 45,000 feet and 23,000, which one pilot suggested might have been done willfully to render passengers unconscious. But this strikes me as behavior that would also be consistent with the airplane flying completely unattended with the autopilot off. Though these oscillations are larger than I might expect, it would be a natural behavior for the airplane to fly relatively large but gentle pitch oscillations.

this could also explain the extreme drifting off course.....a plane doesn't fly a straight line. I think something happened to the plane vs someone doing something to the plane. there seems to be evidence of a solo flight.

Bruce, hope all is well and that you are recovering in quick fashion.  Went back to some old e-mails and found this exchange with Skip P. a few years ago:
"Skip, why isn't your photo alongside your co-author's, in your new book?"
"We never met."
"Are you going to meet?"
"Not if I can help it."
"Why not?"
"I suggest you ask Geoff Gray.  I'm sure that he speaks for both of us."
"So if your book doesn't sell, what's next for you?"
"Shut down my NY business. Oh, the Caribbean, maybe Mexico, or Canada.  Just get away from certain people."
"Yeah, I get it.  What if he stalks you?"
"Hey, I'm an ex-private dick.  I can handle the SOB."
"Well, have fun with that, Skip."
"None of it's fun, believe me.  He's nothing but a huge pain-in-the-ass."
"Ha.  No wonder YOU never posted at the DZ."
"I avoid anything to do with him, believe me, in public, in private, or in electronic statement."

It's the True Story, Bruce.  How a good, private detective from NY City accidentally hooked-up with a literary con-man
who disrespects all boundries.

Ok Coop, although I agree with your feelings towards the person mentioned above. I don't want this to be a bashing site. I won't remove this comment, but will remove any further remarks to it. let's keep it respectable on here. trust me. I know how hard it is not to respond to his latest remarks, but it's in my best interest to ignore that person.....

Thanks.

Shutter, I have tremendous respect for you and your site.  But I didn't make any mention of actual names, except for Skip and Geoff, did I?   I omitted the name of a particular "individual," so as not to violate your rules.  If the individual wants to perceive it's about him, then that's not really my problem.  After all, this is "THE TRUE STORY.

no problem Coop, I was just pointing out what my intentions were. we all know who is in question with the emails. It's a little issue that might cause a bigger issue on the other site. I'm sure the comment will be over there in no time. he's been pouring gasoline on the fire for weeks now. I did agree with you, but it's a timing issue at this moment. I also have respect for you. That's why I simply mentioned my intentions without making a big deal out of it.

It's all good my friend.  8)

Smoke, I feel I need to post a disclaimer here stating that your above comments are wholly your own and were in no way influenced by me!

(smile)

I've already had one lengthy phone visit with a distant friend who is convinced that MH 370 has entered a time portal akin to the Bermuda Triangle and that we won't see the passengers and crew until Earth enters the Fifth Dimension spiritually.
