Bruce    I don't think Petey or Sheridan as I know him, would be willing to talk to anyone at this late a date in the DB story. He clammed up on me about 2 years ago and is not like he used to be (a good talker).

Sail, don't underestimate the power of a woman to extract information from a man.

If you don't believe me, will you please ask Michelle to weigh in on this subject....

Yes, a woman might come forward claiming the bomb in the briefcase was made out of quarter rolls taped together  ;D ;D ;D
I've never seen red ones before. they are more orange. I believe they stated the color of the uniform which is not the color of
a roll of quarters.  8)

wrapping them in red tape defeats the purpose of using quarter rolls, just use wood dowels.....it doesn't make sense...

Update from Glory Road:

For those of us seeking fame and fortune in the Cooper TV World, I have some information on Skype, so that you can get yourself recorded by TV Guy at Atlas.

There is a web cam device for 30 bucks at Walmart, Target, etc. I just bought one and will be installing it shortly. Joining Skype is not too difficult - it just takes time to wander through the downloads, forms, set ups, etc.

I got the Logitech c270 at Target. Walmart was all out, but had plenty of other types at 50 bucks.

I installed it on my tablet. I had trouble with loading it on my desktop. I have some software Microsoft doesn't approve. it was less than a minute on the tablet.

As for Fame & Fortune? no thanks. I'm just trying to tell a story about an old crime......

Let me know if you want to test your camera out.....

Update from Hollywood

Ii just spent an hour Skype-ing with Mark from Atlas. Mark is part of an LA-based Atlas team that includes TV Guy, Andrew Jacobs, who waved to me from the background. Both seem to be young guys - 30 something.

Mark is super, and if you work with him I am sure you will find him to be a wonderful guide to getting your mug onto film.

Their DB Cooper project seems to be growing and taking shape. Mark told me that they are beginning to view this documentary project as a "series" rather than just a one-off. I sense that this would be in addition to the original project that DB Cooper was going to be part of an "American Heroes" series.

I'm also learning how to Skype, and I've Skyped with Nimi and Shut. It might be fun to have a group Skype sometime.

It sounds like an old rumor may be gaining a little momentum.  This could put the Cooper Case in front of millions of new eyeballs:

Ug.

But maybe any headline is better than no headline.

The Latest from Hollywood:

A couple things.

First, Meyer Louie called me last night to say that he has been contacted by Atlas Media and will be Skyping with Mark tomorrow morning.

Secondly, Atlas is legit. I was at a film festival over the weekend and interviewed a number of movie folks from Hollywood who knew of Atlas. It's not a fly-by-night operation.

Lastly, Mark from Atlas contacted me, asking for advice on how to connect with Brian Ingram, as Brian is not returning phone calls or emails. I told Mark that I have received the same response from Brian. Not sure why, as he is a nice guy and was very chatty and personable at the Portland conference in 2011. (Was it really 4 years ago????)

So, clearly Atlas is leaving no stone unturned.

Well, maybe they are. Maybe not, too.

I just got another email request from Mark at Atlas. Now, he's looking for the squirrel guy, and also Safecracking PLF. I asked him where the heck he is going with this project, and why he's looking for the small fry when he doesn't mention the Big Fish at the FBI.

Specifically, I asked him if he was researching Ron Nichols, Mike McPheters, Ralph Himmelsbach, Dorwin Schroeder, et al, who were involved in the money find, and now we can't find anything to confirm what they've been saying about the multiple shards at T-Bar.

Basically, his response was a big "Hunh?" and he asked me for their contact information. In reply, I said somebody at Atlas has got to read my book!  Seriously. It has tons of information on these guys. In fact, the title of the book says DB Cooper AND THE FBI.

Yeesh.

So, I wrote to Andrew Jacobs asking if they need a consultant for the project, as providing names, contact info, and data on the roles of individuals goes beyond just being a nice guy and heads directly towards the realm of compensation.

I'll keep you posted.

Mark also told me that he is working on three other projects. This doesn't sound too good, folks.

I'm guessing they always have several things going at once with hopes of one of them being picked up...there are lots of sitcoms (pilots) that we never see. a lot of work goes into them, but it doesn't pass the test audience...who knows?

TV Guy and I have emailed a few times today. Things sound okay at Atlas. They say they're contacting FBI folks.

But Atlas also wants to find out more about a guy named David Frank. Apparently, Franks is the current nom de plume for Grey Cop, aka Paul Givett, or another guy parading other people's work on Cooper. Either way it's bogus stuff.

Frank's current stuff is Grey Cop's video stroll along "Tina Bar" - NOT.

Yeesh.
