It's neat to see the influence you can have on people. Just last week I created a section on the Wikipedia page about the sketches and now this video pops up using some of the sentences I wrote verbatim. Warms my soul. Haha.

So do you think the Zodiac is solvable?  Also, re above sketch's, the unibomber is not in there.  That one was not very good either. Ted K.

--- End quote ---
I do believe that the Zodiac is solvable due to more physical evidence. I’ll say this:  I think the lack of chatter in the Zodiac case is due to a calm before the storm on the part of law enforcement rather than a cold case getting colder.

I watched the movie on the case some time back.  They seemed to believe they knew who he was?  Im not sure how many suspects but Im sure far less than in this Cooper craziness. So many false confessions.  But you do not see false confessions as often on a first degree murder rap.

--- End quote ---
The movie was based on a book from the 1980s about a suspect that the author had identified. The suspect was later cleared through multiple means including DNA. It's a great movie, but mostly fictionalized.

The case remains open and unsolved today.

Chaucer, you got it right and that is not an insult.  None of the Zodiac ciphers have been solved and may not be solveable.

--- End quote ---
First, two of the ciphers have been solved. I have posted multiple pieces of evidence in that regard in the past. It's not a debate. It's fact.

Second, the case itself remains unsolved despite two the four ciphers being cracked.

--- End quote ---

So any of these people on YouTube claiming they have identified Zodiac are incorrrect?

In the 1960s and early 1970s, a small complimentary package of four cigarettes came with most meals served on the airlines.  ICS matchbooks were free everywhere but most meals came with a small matchbook from the same company that provided the meals.  Its name was Magic Chef or some such thing.  So the matchbooks are not really a good clue.

No one has identified the Zodiac or solved any of the ciphers.
