Tragedy Strikes Again
« on: February 05, 2016, 06:39:48 PM »
My dog who has been my loyal companion for over 10 years has to be put down...this has turned me upside down. I'm very attached to my dog. she goes everywhere with me. :'(

She lost a huge amount of weight in the last two weeks, and started getting weak. I took her to the vet today, and they told me she has a tumor in her side (bleeding) which is depriving her of nutrients. that's why she lost so much weight. 83 lbs to 60, rapidly.

This is really going to be another tough road to travel. I'm going to have her cremated, and her ashes will remain with me. hopefully this will help me while I travel this dreadful road of death once again...

Thanks, it's really tough. I can see she is not feeling well, but in the same sense, she acts normal. this makes it harder to do what needs to be done. she's always at the foot of my bed, she goes to the store with me, sometimes would go to work with me. she hangs out with us next door at my buddies house, out on his porch.it's really taken the wind out of my sail...

Dogs and people form very deep bonds. I lost my dog to cancer years ago and I still choke up looking at photos of better days.

My condolences Shutter.

Haven't been able to get involved here lately. working 7 days now....I did complete my dogs urn. it was well worth the build. it helped a lot!

When I'm at work I always look in the dumpster for goodies..this time I found a plastic "Scooby" so I included it in my build. the black flower pots are actually a kids tea set  ;D I just cut the handle off, and painted it....I think it came out pretty damn good. the wood is red oak..

Scooby will be moving in by the end of the week....
