True. Hydraulic rudder boost was installed on the Boeing 377, a piston driven propliner which debuted in 1944.

Klansnic Update

Nicky B emailed me with some news, and asked me to post the essence of it here. He contacted Ayn Dietrich-Williams and described his findings on Klansnic and her response was:

â€œMy goodness, how did we miss this guy?â€

FWIW.

These guys are suspect in a lot of things they do...blurred pix, phony ID's (sent to me way back) different names, nasty PM's/emails etc. etc.

what is this photo suppose to mean? they zoom in on a guy with a purlpe shirt & that's suppose to be Rackstraw?

Some of these people with suspects remind me of parents wanting there children in a pageant, or as a child actor..they quickly try to cut down the competition...Robert Blevins is the founder of this syndrome...they seem to get so jealous of media exposure or attention that they start spending a lot time trying to put holes in other suspects...then you disagree with them, and the hate starts popping out...not all of them do this, but a majority will...

LD Cooper was DB Cooper
Duane Weber was DB Cooper
Kennith Christiansen was DB Cooper
My Father Was DB Cooper (Bradley S. Collins)
MMA fighter Chael Sonnen knows who DB Cooper was..
James Klansnic was DB Cooper.
Robert Rackstraw was DB Cooper

How can so many get it right?

It's a picture Derek Godsey has posted in reference to Rackstraw..the picture seems to be from November of 1971 and was taken at Disney World. I don't know if the pic belongs to Colbert, or Derek. I think it's Derek's way of trying to show Rackstraw was somewhere else during the hijacking..

It's a very poor example of trying to prove anyone was anywhere with that picture...it's impossible to ID anyone in the photo..

Hah! Better pageant parents than Olympic figure skating posse-goons.

Jo has found connections between Duane and just about every other suspect. As soon as a new one pops up and garners any serious attention, sure enough, Duane knew him. He sure got around.

I'd sure like to know why the FBI ruled out Bradley Collin's Dad, if in fact they did. Bradley has enough factual errors in his book to make me question whether the FBI did actually investigate Jack Collins. We see no obvious mention of it in the FBI FOIA docs.

Jack isn't a bad suspect actually IF everything Bradley writes is true. Jack was a seasoned skydiver, knew the Pacific NW area, was a pilot and had a brother Bud who was a Northwest Airlines 727 captain. Jack had money problems and wasn't averse to a few scams to keep his cash flow coming, e.g. taking out disability insurance policies and then having a series of bone breaking minor skydiving landing accidents that got the insurance money coming in. Jack is a decent match for the FBI sketches too. Bradley also writes that his Dad disappeared for five days spanning the Nov 24 1971 DB Cooper skyjack date. It would be interesting to see if this absence can be independently verified. he is a decent match for the sketches too.

There could and maybe should be two sets of suspect lists. The FBI's top ten Cooper suspects vs. Suspects currently active or popular in the Social Media. The two lists are NOT the same and never have been, in fact we may not even know who the FBI's top ten Cooper suspects were (or are)!

Smith should prepare two lists!  :chr2:  The two lists are driven by totally different criteria, for one thing! Who would the BEST suspects be based on current ideas about the Cooper case?

In one early Woody Allen movie "Take the Money and Run", he played a small time criminal who was always upset that he never made the FBI's ten most wanted list.

His wife said "Virgil was always upset he never made that list.  Those lists are very unfair.  It's who you know."

absolutely nothing wrong with having a suspect...the problems start when they decide what evidence fits best. then they start to argue with you about how wrong you are in not believing..as I mentioned before, how can they all be so right?

It's funny, they will post up links about descriptions being wrong and boldly put the suspect right beside the "sketch" which is not  a photo to show how close he resembles the sketch...

some will take extreme measures..this I know for sure with the recent false accusation brought against me. It's become a competition now..I'm a little set back to say the least that someone would do such a thing in the Cooper community..I'm not shocked with the individuals involved..they have all been banned in the past..it appears they have found a sanctuary forum though..

I cant recall the last time an "FBI list of Cooper suspects" was presented. I mean people the FBI was actually investigating as opposed to GrayCop, PinkTurtle, or CamelButt who presented on internet social-media, socalled. Let me say right off the top, if an FBI list of actual Cooper suspects was compiled Vicki's Dad would have to be included because he was a known "wanted" still being sought by the US Marshall's office with skills and facts possibly related to the Cooper case ... as opposed to social-media personalities like Duane Weber, Kenny Christiansen, Barb Dayton, Hopalong Marengo, and Germaine Pijball whose classic escapes from purse stealing at the Lemon Twist Lounge ... does not qualify in-and-of itself, as belonging on any Cooper suspect list!

The difference is people who actually qualify to be Cooper suspects based on facts vs. somebody's personal agenda based on false facts claimed to belong in some weird bastardization of the Cooper case.

Just because some person goes on some media announcing he or she knows who Cooper was, does not warrant adding them to the Cooper Wanted list! imho.
