Yo, Parrot, how's John Prine doing in Nashville? I hear he's in ICU with Covid, along with his wife, Jane.

Bruce, not sure if you saw or not, but John Prine passed away yesterday :-X.

Yup. I heard. He would have written a doozy of a song about quarantining and ventilators. I just heard that he wrote: when I get to heaven I want to smoke a cigarette nine miles long.

Just one toke on a Havana is my wish....

Nashville's quite a town: John Prine, Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, and Wynonna. I've been having some strong thoughts about returning there for a spell. I'd love to sing at the Bluebird again.

Anybody wanna join me on stage for a rendition of the Mystery of DB Cooper???

Sorry, Bruce. There's two things I can't do, and singing is both of them!

Interesting by-products of keeping safe.

BTW: I was surprised to learn that speeding tickets were up 20% in NYC in March.

Also: wine consumption is up 60%, beer 40, and hard liquor 75%!

My date leaving for Tampa is approaching...I will be checking in when I can..I expect to be gone from April 19th through the first week of May. any disruptions with be dealt with by banning that person until I return.

Eric, feel free to call me if anything should become a concern..this is a large job that will require my full attention and have to put this on the back burner..

The shipping canopy is over 600 feet long and I have a small window to work with financially or my profits start going out the window. my priority will be getting everyone back home safe. I bought the camper with hopes of less interaction with the public. we are also going to stock up on food and liquids to limit trips to the store.(semi-off grid) the job is outside and away from other workers...I also put in the contract to have no on site meetings unless they are outside. no project trailer visits.

I'm pretty much focused on this right now. I've halted or completed existing work to get ready for this job..

I guess Cooper Distancing starts April 19th !!

Who would have guessed!

Hmmm.  Kudos to Eric and R99 !   :))

Book writers and Cooper showmen, seem to be dominating currently in Cooperland .

Several months back people received calls from the Josh Gates company, calling people to get thoughts on a second (Part II) revisit of the Gates/Discovered program on DB Cooper. And not one word was posted about any of this, by anyone! Hmmmmmm. That's interesting ? Gates may have backed off a Part II due to no newsworthy developments of substance, since his last program.

Bruce Smith - have you got anything to add? Anything informative and non-controversial ?    ;)

Georger - some point you're trying to make?
What is your problem with writers and producers?

Everything is relative. The central issue is credibility and relevance, as it applies to facts in the Cooper case.

I have no problem with people who make cars, refrigerators, and Hemingway.  They make real things. They dont ask to be worshiped! And there is a mountain of historical documentation and precedence behind what they are doing! These people have credible enterprise behind them that is easily recognized, or not!

Robert Blevins and company is something else entirely!

I grew up under a guy named Adolf Hitler, so Im thin skinned when it comes to liars, con men, and windbags who seize control with the approval of hypocrites.

Which would you rather have your children being taught? Mein Kampf or Wentworth-Smith's text on Arithmetic ?

Why do I have to join and cheer a Party and its leader in order to study a flight path or the history of Tosaw's work on the Columbia? I just dont see the connection!  It's a judgement call. . .

When a person claims to have solved a mystery, I want to know if they've actually done it or not!
