Jo Weber. I tried contacting her last week to ask her some questions about the Heisson Store and her number is disconnected. Also tried emailing her with no response. I hope she’s okay can anybody else try reaching out?

Found recent records of her having problems with the law. I don't want to post the issue as it doesn't really need to be viewed in the public..charges appear to have been dropped.

Maybe she's in retirement now - was she driving without a license ... or a car!  Four Clydesdales a-breast?  :nono: :chr2:

Jo is as prickly with her neighbors as she has been with us. Nevertheless, I wish her well. Nick, I always used her cell phone number. You? Email me if you need it.

My observation surrounds traffic....yes, Home Depot is busy and only allows 100 people in the store at a time...

At 5:30 pm today I drove up to my grocery store in Eatonville and was shocked to see only three cars in the parking lot. Two weeks ago it was packed. Inside, the place was empty. I was one of maybe four or five shoppers.

Plenty of food, but still NO toilet paper. Can someone PLEASE explain to me why so many people are hoarding TP. I just don't get it. Bleach and Purell I get, but TP?

Yo, Parrot, how's John Prine doing in Nashville? I hear he's in ICU with Covid, along with his wife, Jane.

I wrote a little about him in my Covid Journal, Day 20.

I noticed yesterday the traffic picked up dramatically. I will see if it continues today. perhaps cabin fever is setting in or some businesses are opening back up.

paper products are still a problem along with cheese products soups, bread, buns. frozen foods are low. even garbage bags are gone from the shelves. bleach is long gone...

Last I saw he was stable. "Paradise" is my favorite song from him. He also did some stuff with Mellencamp back in the early 90's that I liked a lot.

I don't think it's all hoarding. Unlike a lot of other items, a single package of toilet paper takes up a lot of shelf space. So even when shelves are fully stocked, there isn't a lot there. So when a few people start hoarding, everybody starts trying to by it, then the shelves stay empty.
We found some at our local Dollar General Store this past weekend. We bought a single 12 pack, the limit was 3. I've said all along and I still believe this to be true: if people would just buy their normal groceries, everything would be fine.
