I read on The Mountain News that Robert pulled out of the event in November but seems to once again forget what he say's. I received 3 email from him about me ruining the event? I have nothing to do with the event what so ever.

I sent Jim several emails about Roberts behavior. I've never spoken about him in this manor before offline. even though he spends most of his time doing just that. I've blocked him from emails years ago but he used Gayla's to intrude on my privacy once again. the guy has some serious issue's that are beyond my help.

I haven't even read all of his emails yet. most will be a rant from the first email anyway. he's back to saying Jim doesn't like anyone and is considering not having the event. that's his right to do what ever he wishes. I can't tell him what to do. I don't even know the guy. I sent a couple emails last week and seen who was attached, so it's no mystery to my thoughts. Robert must have a pinball machine in his head the way he spouts things off flip flopping back and forth on any given subject bouncing off the rails.

Dear Mr. Blevins, I realize you try and fit in but you constantly fail to understand the damage you have done and continue to do. I'm not a very forgiving person so stop coming to me whining like some sort of victim in all of this. YOU CREATED IT ALL. not me! you asked me in the email if I read your wordpress, no, I don't read anything you write anymore. it's all hateful, spiteful rants. in which you once again play the victim. you know damn well Bruce banned you and yet you constantly post on his site. then give Bruce some bullshit about him coming to your house "unannounced" . lots of people do that...

Do us all a favor and get those millions of views on Quora and leave us alone. you are not welcome here, or on The Mountain News or Ariel. you are a very hateful, spiteful person that nobody wants to deal with, GOT IT?

So, Blevins is mad because you sent an email and ruined a planned Cooper event??? I wonder if this sounds a little familiar to him?

Mr. Blevins has never once shown any indication of changing over the years. he's been consistent with his behavior. he will act like a new leaf has turned only when he wants something and then it's always temporary with the olive branch. my policy has and always will be consistent. I don't want anything to do with him in any capacity.

For those interested, I'll be on Into The Parabnormal with Jeremy Scott tomorrow night (Saturday) from 7:30PM - 9:00PM Pacific Time. I'll be discussing DB Cooper and Sheridan Peterson.

This is a show not too unlike Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. The show originates from Portland and can be listened to LIVE or later at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Travel Channel and DB Cooper

The Travel Channel has just announced the air-date for its new series: "Mission Declassified." The launch will feature four episodes: Alcatraz, The Lindberg Baby Kidnapping, The Boston Art Museum Heist, and of course, DB Cooper.

The Cooper broadcast will be:

1. Sunday, March 31, 10 PM, ET
2. Monday, April 1, Midnight, ET
3. Sunday, April 14, 2 pm, ET.

I'm not sure of all the perspectives on NORJAK that they will show, but I know I was with them in Amboy for a full-day of shooting. We were in the ground-search area along Cedar Creek Road, talked to lots of people, and use ground-penetrating radar to scan for a parachute.

However, the promotional material talks about the host, Christof Putzel, jumping out of a plane, ala Josh Gates and Expedition Unknown, and then the investigation heads to Utah. Duh? McCoy? I don't know what this angle is, at all.

The production company TC used is Karga Seven, and they are excellent. Top-notch crew.

Something has been bugging me for a long time . . .

No record using ordinary searches, has been found for one Mike Tosaw playing football at the University of Iowa, much less on the 1939 Iron Man Team, or on any roster that includes Nile Kinnick in any year at UI. Rosters of those who ever lettered in football at UI (in any year) do not include the name Mike Tosaw. Moreover, consultations with football historians could never bring up the name: Mike Tosaw, in any college venue. That is puzzling given various people's claims.

However, an old New York Times article [ tagged: Item # 585501 June 10, 1943 - THE NEW YORK TIMES, June 10, 1943 - * re. Nile Kinnick death * Iowa Hawkeyes Heisman trophy winner * NCAA college football - one column heading on page 28: "Memorial to Kinnick Is Planned by Iowa"]  states,  quote:

"Dick Tosaw, whose brother played high school football with Kinnick, has repeatedly pursued the idea of finding and salvaging Kinnick's plane, . . . "

played high school football with Kinnick ?

Several other newspaper interviews with Richard Tosaw make the same statement, that Mike Tosaw played football with Nile Kinnick in high school, not at the University of Iowa.

Records also show that Richard Tosaw did enroll by correspondence at the University of Iowa's Writer's Workshop, in preparation for learning how to write a book. Numerous newspaper articles attest to that fact, including the Daily Iowan, the university's own newspaper. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Update on the Tosaw Brothers

I just got this from Galen:

If I mis-spoke, I'd like to correct now. Richard Tosaw worked out of the Seattle FO as a sworn agent, early 50's, not out of SF FO. His older brother Mike was at SF FO and rose to SAC.  Mike played college football, not Richard. Richard graduated from law school in Nebraska, either Creighton or Drake....I forget.

Richard went into private practice in CA and ended up in Ceres, near Stockton. He later founded "Bureau of Missing Heirs," his own business and part of his law practice. I actually first contacted Tosaw in 1984 and he mailed me a signed copy of his book. Then, he signed the book twice more in 2005 and 2008, a collector's item for sure.

After our five-day investigation on the Columbia he asked me to move to CA and be his
associate attorney. I rejected b/c I had my own office in Spokane and liked living there.  Tosaw died in 9/09 from prostate cancer. His office contacted me and gave me part of his DBC file for "safe keeping." For two years I had the NB8 that Cossey gave to Tosaw. Then Tosaw's niece called and requested it. I gave it to her.

The last time I ever saw Tosaw was in Starbucks at 8th and Columbia in Vancouver, WA. We drank coffee for two hours and spent the entire time going over the flight path of 305. He expressed much interest and agreement of the FBI's version of the flight path, according to Carr.

Interesting. Thanks, G.

Mike Tosaw did not play with Nile Kinnick on the famous 1939 team. Here is the complete roster for 1938-39. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Richard Tosaw is on record stating in many interviews, that his brother played football with Nile Kinnick - in high school, not in college. That could only have happened if the Tosaws had moved from Omaha to Minnesota, which people say they did.

Ask Galen what Tosaw's special relationship with Rataczak was - that had Tosaw including Rataczak in his will ?

From Galen, on Richard and Mike Tosaw:

"This is for DBC Forum, per Georger's request:

"Tosaw had a special interest in the flight path of Flt 305.  He told me that his theory was that the jet flew over T-Bar, to the west of Vancouver. His subsequent expeditions dragging the Columbia River bore that out.  Tosaw was pragmatic. He thought the evidence at T-Bar was proof that Cooper went into the drink and some of the money at that location was the proof.  Tosaw spent hours on the phone with Rataczak trying to get detailed and specific info on the pinpoint location about the intersection over the Columbia.  He met with Rataczak at least once and they became friends.  Tosaw's will, which I personally viewed, gave Rataczak $5000. Not sure why he did that, other than to thank him for all of the info.  What is interesting to me is that Rataczak also shared a friendship with Himmelsbach.  Tosaw and Himmelsbach despised each other.  Of course, what's new in this mystery?  These Cooper disputes go back to the early 1970's."

This is a very cool perspective and story.

By and large, I think Tosaw and R99 are correct about the flight path. The truth of the matter is that the only two pieces of evidence found outside of the jet support the Western flight path--Hicks' placard and Tena Bar.

As for me, I think the evidence is compelling that the jet traveled over St. Helens, OR and that shortly after passing that town Cooper jumped (coincidentally at 8:12PM). Factoring in the SW wind he would have drifted over the state line into Washington State and walked out of the area by way of passing Tena Bar. All of that said, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the implications if this is accurate.
Some men see things as they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?

/He told me that his theory was that the jet flew over T-Bar, to the west of Vancouver. His subsequent expeditions dragging the Columbia River bore that out./

Dragging the Columbia where he did would apply only IF the winds took Cooper to that destination, after bailing over or near TBar.

Tosaw said a lot of different things in different interviews about his 'theory' so maybe his theory changed over time? What did he tell the people that worked for him about the flight path and where Cooper bailed? How did he explain or justify where he was having people search - that goes to his 'theory', or did he even have a single theory? Was the area of his searching more related to the fact of the money find location or to something specific Rataczak told him about when and where Rat thought Cooper had bailed? Did Rataczak give Tosaw info he didnt give the FBI ?
