Sheridan may rest easier but there will be no peace for Sail. He went to his grave absolutely convinced that Sheridan Peterson was DC Cooper. I couldn’t convince him that even a scintilla of doubt remained.

2019 looking very slim here....

New work related to the money find is being done (by 4 people) but things are suspended for the holidays. This involves interviews, a review of Tosaw's work and the 1980 excavation, and new lab work planned. Samples have been collected from various sources and are in storage waiting lab work in the new year. That involved patient effort and negotiations with a number of people.   I don't expect anything revolutionary will result but we are going to try to add some clarification, assemble new information, and explain some old issues, etc.

Has the review of FBI files released just before Christmas revealed anything new - ?

edit:  since this lab work involves photographic microscopy and some SEM work there will be photos to share at some point. There could be more depending on results.

He has more going for his suspect than the others. I also believe that if someone has a theory about the case, that are are able to present and not be ridiculed. It seems to me that personal attacks often happen when people challange the person's theory. I think only the FBI can say that the case is solved. It makes me wonder if people want this case solved.

Correct, I have only attacked the data. the others are attacking Flyjack personally. if you look, Flyjack has been insulting me the entire time I have been engaged with him. I've made no insults other than attacking his proof. it's a two way street.

I will always chime in when someone claims they have solved the case. it's a very arrogant statement that calls for evidence beyond a shadow of doubt to be presented to make such a claim. Circumstantial evidence and coincidences don't allow this to become fact!

Flyjack has made it personal by tossing insults left and right at me. all I've done is disagree with his conclusions and he gets Blevinized!

 "personal attacks often happen"

MEYDC, have you been reading the personal attacks by Flyjack? and can you show where I have personally attacked him. calling him Blevins is due to his similar behavior he is showing with every post. all I have done is disagree with Hahneman being Cooper.

Sadly, the Cooper story has become a bickering match everywhere you go. people get butt hurt over opinions, people call you "so called experts" etc.

I've been thinking about getting out all together for some time now. I think this forum has ran it's course of time. nothing left but pissing matches.

I don't know if Cooper will ever be solved.

Episode 7 of The Cooper Vortex is up! DB Cooper was an International Spy, with Vern Jones. Let me know what you think!

Enjoy!

I did, while I don't excuse what he did, I think that he felt a need your forum because of being ridiculed by people. I think he takes it out on you, but comparing him to Blevins gets under his skin. I  have doing more studying of the Zodiac case and only lurked here but I did see some of the exchanges that led to him leaving.

As much as I would like to know all of the answers about this case, I have always been of the opinion that it will never be solved. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it happening. I hope the forum stays and thrives though.

I think the case will be solved, but I am such an irrational optimist. I think it must be genetic. When my son was about 4 years old we were walking in SF and he spotted a crumpled twenty dollar bill on the sidewalk. There was nobody else in sight and no way to return it to its owner so I told my son he could keep it. We finished our errand and it was time to head home. My boy wanted to keep walking until it got dark. Why?  Because he was certain he would find another twenty.

Happy New Year to all.
