Me and Bobby (McGee)
Not to keep this little Blevins jag running too long, but I thought I would clarify what my involvement has been with Robert and this mysterious Christiansen production out of Hollywood.
For months, maybe a year, RMB has been asking me to join up with this crew. RMB said I would receive 15K for reviewing 20-30 pages of script dealing with the actual hijacking to insure historical accuracy. After ignoring RMB for many months, then outright telling him to buzz off, I changed my mind. I told RMB that I would be happy to enter into contract negotiations with the producers to determine what I had to do for the 15-grand.
That started a whole rigmarole with Bobby - him going back and forth about not trusting me, and that I had to earn his trust before he could recommend me to the producers, etc. I told him I didn't trust him either, but that I didn't see what that had to do with the producers making up their own minds about who they wanted to do business with. RMB was unrelenting. He sent me 10-20 emails over a short period of time dangling the moolah and insisting that I had to rebuild his trust. Eventually I told him that I was terminating all discussions with him on any topic.
He couldn't let go, though. I think for RMB the Cooper World - and all its side dynamics such as me, 15K, trust issues, Shut being a bad boy, etc. - is like a drug addiction. He's just gotta have it. Then a couple of days ago he had a little hissy fit about this video thing that he thinks he owns.
For me, I will not talk about RMB again. I am so done with that character. I hope no one else here feels the need to discuss him. Well, if you do then go ahead, but I will skip reading it for sure.
