DB Cooper's boat for sale

Airborne Bob just posted this at the Mountain News. Thought y'all would want to know:

"DB Cooper’s boat is for sale to highest bidder You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login"

You do get responses from Cooper "suspects", Bruce.  I was just reading the reviews of your book on amazon.com and I see Sheridan Peterson even wrote one.

Good ol' Petey. Remember, I have a standing invitation from Sheridan to join him and run away to Nicaragua anytime the USA gets too cranky about being Great Again...

That asking price is waaaay high. Not a chance in hell it will sell for anywhere near that number.

Poetry from Jo Weber

Galen just sent me this poem about Duane. Apparently I'm not on Jo's Mass Mailing List anymore...sigh.

You'll never know just how much I miss you
You'll never know just how much I care
And if I tried
I still couldn't hide my love for you
You ought to know
For haven't I told you so a million or more times
You went away and you took my heart with you
I speak your name in my every prayer
If there is some other way to prove that I love you
Honey, I don't know how you'll never know
If you don't know now
Yes, I speak your name in my every prayer
Oh, if there is some other way to prove that I love you
I guess you're gonna have to show me how
You'll never know if you don't know now
OOPS

Jo just emailed me to say that this poem is a song, and that Duane sang it to her. She said that others wrote the song, too.

It might sell for that...if it were actually DB Coopers boat.

I have some good news to report that has to do with members. I've been in touch with a gentleman who use to fly with Bill Rataczak. he was a captain, he has flown many different types of aircraft,  DC-4, DC-6, DC-7, B-707, Electra as copilot: Electra, B-727, DC-10, B-747 as captain. Flew with Bill on 727.

He has agreed to come aboard and share his knowledge with us. this is a great honor that we could have such a person with his experience to discuss the case with. lets maintain a professional level here. his information is valuable to all of us....

It is from a song originally sang by Vera Lynn in 1943. Many artists have covered the song since. Here is Frank Sinatra's version: . This song was important to Jo. Duane would sing it to her. She thought it was a clue.

On a completely different subject:

Is anyone watching the new Netflix documentary on sexual abuse by priests in Baltimore, circa 1968-1992? It is a seven-part series that started a week ago and is called, "The Keepers."

I recommend it because I think it may have relevance in understanding Tina Mucklow's behavior more completely.

Briefly, the docu has three aspects: a murder of a Catholic nun named Catherine Cesnick who was attempting to reveal a huge sex ring scandal that centered around a priest named Fr. Joesph Maskill and a "Brother Bob" at Bishop Keogh High School for girls in Baltimore, and widespread collusion by the Baltimore Police department to thwart the investigation and to protect the alleged participation by cops in the ring.

By the time the docu was in production, over 100 girls from Keogh claimed to have been raped in the sex ring.

The question that brings Tina into the conversation is how was all of this kept quiet for so long. The docu is a good look at some of the basics of MKULTRA-like mind-control, and the power of sexual abuse to distort one's memory and psyche.

If you're watching the show and want to discuss it - and any possible links to Tina - send me an email. Afterwards, if we come up with anything definitive that might play into Norjak, we'll post it here.

Tom Colbert just sent me an email in reference to the release of more FOIA files...

Total of 436 new pages.
FYI: The Bureau is sending the FOIA posts out of order, and sometimes surprising me with subsections -- today I had to change some number orders. All the date ranges, however, remain the same.

The three new sections posted today on DBCooper.com are labeled:

116-cv-01790 164A-SE-81 Section 2 (11/28/71 to 11/30/71; 278 pages)

116-cv-01790 164A-SE-81 Section 3, Part 1 (11/29/71 to 12/2/71; 44 pages)

116-cv-01790 164A-SE-81 Section 1, Part 2A (11/26/71 to 11/28/71; 114 pages)

Cheers,

TJC

Tom Colbert's website can now be found on our website and is in the article page of this forum. Tom sent me the news about the new files last nite, so I posted the reply and started looking into the files. I figured everyone had seen my comment so I was posting things of interest I found as I was searching the files. they were random topics but I figured someone would reply to the one's they had questions about. I just got involved in reading and wanted them on record for later discussion. hopefully, this will help explain my rapid postings  :))

Tom's website is on our front page of the website with Dropzone, Tom Kaye and others at the bottom of the page. Kaye's site is not functioning at the present time, it's been down for some time now?

It seems that the last time I went to New York for a few weeks to celebrate my mother's birthday and take care of some family business, I wasn't able to post here for the duration - and when I came back I learned that some folks were wondering if I had another heart attack.

Nope, I'm just a Party Hardy guy... Be back after the 20th. Gonna be talking to Dice-Man in the flesh, too! Over pastrami sandwiches, as well!

So, adios. And HELLO New York -

I have just begun sifting through the FBI files. Very interesting stuff but also very frustrating with the huge number of redactions. Names, phone numbers and addresses are understandable but I don't understand why they redacted some of the stuff that they did. It's like a game of fill-in-the-blank for 45 year-old cold case that they've given up on anyway.

Yep, and if the file says 144 pages, it's really only about 70 due to multiple copies....

Haha yup that's another thing I've noticed. Still some very fascinating stuff in there. Like the guy pretending to be a movie script writer and asking the cockpit crew about how to drop something out of an airplane .... two weeks before NORJAK? Pretty neat stuff.

Any ideas on why they would go so overboard on the redactions?
