Mr TV Guy
I am possibly the last of the people in the forum that has known DB Cooper/Sheridan Peterson who lived at my home in Seattle for a month and about 10 years before Norjak (FBI name for the DB Cooper skyjacking case).  Feel free to email me at my address below for some real info about DB Cooper and why Sheridan is the most qualified suspect. Also, I know how to quickly solve the case using DNA the FBI already have but have not looked at under the stamps and envelope flaps of the four letters sent to the newspapers just following Norjak. By comparing DNA from the letters to what they have of Sheridan they would find a match which would prove Sheridan was not in Nepal per his phony alibi but was in Portland, the scene of the crime. His lie to the FBI (a Federal crime) and jail time could be traded for the rest of the story from Sheridan.

I'm sure they will contact you if the show gets picked up. I don't think they come onto the forum anymore at this time.

A Fun Show on DB Cooper

Instead of trying to figure out who DB Cooper is/was, why not just do a docu on what he did? Here are some ideas - consider it a freebee to Hollywood!

1. PDX - show where the skyjacking began. Cooper entered the plane via the aft stairs! And left the same way!!!
2. SEA-TAC, where the money-passenger swap took place. Were there snipers, what could they see in the rain and dark? What was it like with the fuel truck gaffs - Rataczak "laying down the law"?
3. Get someone to jump over Ariel in the rain at night. Have a team of photogs with night vision gear follow him down - could be quite a show.
4. A re-enactment of getting down from a tree snag by using ropes/spare parachute brought along for the possibility.
5. What does LZ-A look like at night, in the rain. Where was it snowing?
6. Where could have road blocks and check point have been established? How easily could they be avoided?
7. What can actually be seen by fixed wing and helos in the rain? Exactly how visible is a parachute stuck in a forest?
8. Where would an extraction team wait for DB Cooper? How long would it have taken to rendezvous?
9. How fast could Richard McCoy have returned to McCarran airport in Las Vegas, if he was in fact part of Cooper's extraction team?
10. Where could DB Cooper have laundered 10,000 twenties? Las Vegas, with McCoy? Hong Kong? The casinos of Macau? Lots of Glitz!
