Simply put, it isn't accurate. There is absolutely no evidence supporting a broad and deep shard field. What you have is sloppy, and obviously inaccurate, language from Schroeder (spelling ?) when interviewed by a TV reporter. The reporter himself even states that very few additional money pieces were found, and near the surface, in a later segment. Moreover, they actually display the totality of what was found and it amounts to only a few pieces. Not to mention, these "phantom" shards are not in the FBI's possession.

What we have is a classic case of someone being taken too literally. In fact, Schroeder innocently enough exaggerated the context of what was found at Tena Bar by the FBI. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing--film footage, evidence in FBI's possession, witness testimony from Fazio's, etc--backs up the notion of a shard field that was broad and deep.

Hold on there, cowboy, me thinks you are painting this picture with too broad a brush.

Does Dorwin Schroeder exaggerate or simply not get his facts down? Yes; ie: part of the briefcase found, a 60-yard shard trail on the surface that a "blind man could follow," etc. But he has been consistent in claiming a significant shard field, and at depth.

Plus, SA Mike McPheters says that he, too, found shards of size where he was digging, and inferred that other FBI agents digging with him also found shards.

Further, Himms definitively states in his book that he and his team found sizeable shards down to a depth of three feet and he posted a pix - yes, its resolution is not fine enough to make a judgment on its corroborative nature - but that is three FBI agents claiming to find shards up to 2-3 inches in size, in large numbers, down to a significant depth.

If that is NOT true, then what is the motivation or circumstances driving them to either lie, or misstate the circumstances?

OR, did a third party abscond with the larger shards, leaving behind only the itsy-bitsy pieces now in the evidence locker that are, frankly, inconclusive. The tiny stuff may be only the product of days worth of screening of T-Bar beach sand, or detritus from years of file friction on larger bills - or something else entirely - or some combination of all three potentials.

As for saying, or inferring, that the video taping by KATU-TV does not show sizeable shards is not correct in my view. In the videos I've seen, Schreuder clearly shows a 2-3 inch shard in his hand and then placing it in a plasticine evidence envelope. It appears that other agents also have a few of these envelopes. Hence, there are at least 6-10 such pieces, approximately, of evidence somewhere.

That somewhere - is the real issue. Then, who put them there and why. That may be the BIG TRIFECTA of the money find.

If there is a cover-up, it may be a really big one. If so, it might explain lots of other things, such as Sheridan Peterson's true identity, and his actual reasons for traveling in political hot spots with his children for decades. Remember, his secret bank accounts may not be stocked with NORJAK loot, but rather paychecks from Uncle Sam or other black op agencies for services rendered in Iran, China, Nepal, Japan, Papua New Guinea, et.al.

It could also explain why KATU-TV doesn't want anyone to see that video any more. Perhaps at the next conference we could have our DBC attorneys grilling KATU-TV's attorneys why they obstructed a federal investigation for over 40 years, and are currently participating in a sustained cover-up from legitimate journalists and researchers.

Or maybe I should pull a Michael Moore and show up at KATU-TV studios with a film crew and demand to see the video.

Like I said, there have been a couple of obviously wrong statements. I think some of this is the result of being interviewed LIVE and others related to faulty memories. Nothing real earth-shattering. Furthermore, I can't really speak to H's claim or picture because I've never seen it. What I do know is that H has made comments that are--to put it bluntly--false. Specifically, the "filthy language" comment comes to mind. I really don't understand or know the motivation behind that.

I have the KATU footage and have only seen one small Plasticine envelop with a very few pieces. I have never seen any pictures anywhere indicating there was a large quantity of larger shard pieces. Indeed, Schroeder says most of the pieces were no bigger than a dime during his LIVE interview.

Can someone show me a single photo where agents are digging 3' deep? I've seen a couple with Palmer analyzing sediment layers in a trench. Outside of that I have never seen a single photo 3' deep with agents digging at all. In fact, the deepest hole is probably no more than about 18" deep putting aside sand that is piled up along the hole. The KATU footage showing the "plaid-shirt" agent finding a small piece is about 12"-18" deep and is at the money find spot. Where is all this photographic evidence I keep hearing about?

All of the newspaper, TV reporter and helicopter footage shows the same thing. That is, agents turning-up the beach perhaps blade-deep, and the more active zone near the money find spot. Any reports to the contrary are simply unreliable and unverifiable.

This is not a picture of the FBI searching for money. This is a picture of Dr. Leonard Palmer analyzing sediment layers related to the dredge.

How long is an average spade or shovel? I know you are fluffing the foam on this factoid! How deep are they digging - how deep are the holes frags were pulled from. I see at least two 'check envelopes' in two people's hands. I will deal with this subterfuge tonight when I have more time ...   ;)

yes and his trench (that is the Ingram find trench he is in) went almost down to the river so people were digging almost to the same depth in the same area.

BTW - how long is the average camel? How deep the ocean. How blue the sky? How green is envy? How far pulsar 3C73?   . . .  :chr2:

I am very familiar with this photo. If you look closely at the photo--which is at the money find spot--you will see that they're digging from 12" to 18" deep. They are not anywhere near 3' deep. In fact, this is the deepest portion of the digging on Tena Bar outside of the Palmer trenches dug for his analysis. Finally, the dark-hair agent, standing yet turned away near the middle of the pic, with his right shirt sleeve rolled up revealing a long-sleeved solid shirt underneath, is the plaid shirt agent who I referenced above. He is on film actually discovering a small piece of currency.

Here is the photo lightened so you can see the hole they are in - is that the Ingram find stake on right side (in my rectangle)?  It is a limb somebody has driven in the sand for some reason .... If this is the Ingram find stake then they are digging right below the Ingram find.

What EU is failing to acknowledge is "strata" as per Palmer, Kaye, etal! Any money frags BELOW the surface is a problem that must be explained.

Later . . .

  * I lightened Vicki's photo using MaxIm-DL gamma adjustment. That is an image software used in astrophysics. Whoopie!

Are we looking at the long lost mythical HOLY Ingram stake? It is definitely a large stick somebody has driven vertically in the sand ... with what looks like a second formal 'painted marker stick' right next to it perhaps saying: DO NOT DISTURB - ! ?

If this is the "Ingram stake" agents drove with the Ingrams on site ... this identifies the place on the sandbar agents are digging.   Somebody has placed a formal marker next to that large stick ??

Thanks for the photo Vicki!

This is not a picture of the FBI searching for money. This is a picture of Dr. Leonard Palmer analyzing sediment layers related to the dredge.

It looks like they were digging knee deep to the thigh in this photo.

Whoopie!

Indeed, the limb marks the spot. Strata is not a problem. Remember, this spot is about 300 feet from the northern edge of the 1974 dredge spoil spread.
Some men see things as they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?

Good! How far is a knee from the sole of a shoe?

Hi georger.....I would like to give my measurement. From the sole of my shoe to the top of my knee I measure 23". I am 5' 10 1/2 " tall. My sole on my shoe is approximately 1/2".

Looks like they were digging deeper than 12 - 18". Or is this another Palmer photo? There sure are a lot of deep holes and sifting going on.
